No Davies or Huddlestone ffs!

Our midfield suddenly looks piss weak. Oxlade Chamberlain should definitely be in it.

Also, I thought it was a requirement to have 3 goalkeepers in an international squad?

Roy **** off you stupid twat. Also Carrick? Townsend and Smalling are a little bit **** as well.

Has Michael Dawson retired from international football. There can be no other explanation for him omission.

That or he balled Woy's wife.

And Towsend is just proper ****.

Smalling is just ****. Townsend what's he done?

I notice you didnt answer my direct question.

You're talking as if I think Smalling and Townsend should be in the squad. I didnt say that. You're the one who slated them, who do you think should be their direct replacements? Instead, why dont we just accept that Roy has the worst pool of players to choose from in the history of English football and some pretty average players unfortunately have to be in there.

Pah. All younger than me (not sure if that's a first). I should retire from international football to save face from being overlooked. AGAIN!

I've got nowt against Carrick being in there.

It's Smalling, Jones, Townsend and possibly Shaw who shouldn't be in there.

You could argue Bertrand for Shaw but I'd say leave Baines out personally. I think he's a terrible footballer. I dont know who would warrant a place over the rest of your list.

Interesting isnt it - not long ago everyone was creaming their kegs over Townsend and Shaw. Who was it on here who posted about Shaw potentially being one of the worst signings in the past decade and one that would be looked back on and laughed at.....?

edit -ahh found em:

Chamberlain over Townsend for certain. I'd even consider bring in another striker for him, Austin preferably, though Berahino is more versatile.

CBs is a bit tougher, but instead of Smalling and Jones I would have Michael Dawson (not because he is a City player, but because he is a better player than either of those, felt that way for years) and John Stones.

They'd be just as good but no better for me. I'm not saying they're bad suggestions but they'd hardly massively improve the squad over what Roy went for. The Ox and Townsend are of a very similar standing in my eyes.

I don't massively rate Baines. Would rather see younger players in. We have loads of good options at left back.

Shaw I think will be a fantastic left back. I don't think he's put fully fit all season.
