Yeah, it was a priority a few weeks back, less so now but we do need another, at very least a decent challenger to Migs. Should be able to absorb a keeper into the squad without it affecting our playing style....surely!?

We won't pay that. It'll just be his release clause and if anything will probably be 25m. Wonder if if he's better than the last guy we brought from them....
No way we'll pay out £46m IMO No way the fee will be £46m, as Biscan said, that will just be the release clause. Don't we plenty of wide players already? Sterling, Ibe, Markovic and Lallana plus Coutinho, Studge and Moreno can play wide too.
We often play 5 of those at a time to be fair. I always look at building a squad as building 2 teams, so 2 of every thing. Like Noah's Ark. Markovic-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-Moreno -------Sterling----------Coutinho------- ----------------Sturridge------------------ Ibe-xxxxxxxx-xxxxxxx-Enrique -----??????------Lallana-------- -------------???????-------------- This idea certainly suggests maybe for buying another Sterling. But in reality Markovic can play there, as could Ibe or Lallana, and Manquillo or Flanagan could play wide right. I think an addition of this sort would be good but would also be a luxury. Its not a priority but others areas of the field are (CM and ST). No way can we spend that much on it when we need other expensive players more.
That last bit pretty much sums it up. Paying £46m would wipe out whatever budget we have on a area that isn't a priority.
