Good. As long as he plays Mata I'm happy. Just hope the fckr isnt injured (i bet u got your fingers crossed there)
The only thing I hope for against Man Utd is the officials to get decisions right. I'm never #worried about a fair fight against you
The guy that sat Rivaldo (best player in world at the time) on the bench because he said he wouldn`t play on the left? I think names and cost mean little to van Gaal
Astro is genuinely worried. Di Maria, Mata, Herrera, Carrick, Rooney, Young, even Fellaini - bet he's dreaming about them all for the next 6 nights.
Mate that was the last millennium when Van Gaal was a decent manager and actually had a #philosophy rather than just constantly mouthing off about it
Getting your excuses in early I've seen your performances over the last couple of games and I'm not worried either. Bring it on.
He still only picks the players he thinks can do the job so, philosophy or not, the name/price makes no difference.
Hard to see him making too many changes....Blind (v Sterling) is not the quickest at left-back but bringing Rojo in would mean a reshuffle ...if he plays Di Maria (for Herrera) he's likely to be out of position again
Tactical suicide from monaco here. Absolutely no need to keep going gung ho forward and lose possession. Should be holding possession, slowing down the game and making arsenal chase the ball. Completely naive from Monaco.
It is amazing how managers and commentators and pundits cannot do the maths as far as working out how many goals are required and what a certain score line means. Monaco have absolutely NO need to score. In fact they scoring one goal will have minimal effect on what Arsenal need to do. To go through Arsenal need to score 3 goals. They score fewer and they are out. Monaco should just prevent Arsenal from scoring. Pellegrini didn't work it out last season when he could have gone top by just scoring one more goal. Yet they played as if they didn't realise what they could have achieved. Same this season, when Cahill scored, that BBC RS supporting muppet Alan Green screamed: "Chelsea are through", not realising that it didnt make a jot of difference to PSG who needed to score to remain in the competition.
It's pure madness mate. And to top it off they're taking on 2 or 3 arsenal players at a time instead of looking for the early pass. Giving the ball away. How the fck has this team got one of the best defences in the league
Also hate the way Townsend is waxing lyrical about every simple pass arsenal make. He actually described Giroud's finish into a virtually open goal as a great finish.
Probably because of the angle. Do you not think its actually YOU who wax ***gotal because you dont like heaping praise on a team you have a rivalry with?....maybe?
Nah I've never liked Townsend's commentary. He's so bias it's offensive. The angle meant little from that distance. The irony is he actually fcked up his original finish and got lucky with the rebound.
I know mate, am just funning Wasnt all that impressive at all to be honest, and like you say, he only needed the second chance because he ****ed up the first.
