Pedant? I furnish you with correct information and this is how you treat me.... Enough... Let's all laugh at tinpot.
Sorry should read a renault kangoo. your not wrong fella, the bastards are everywhere I got a speeding fine recentley 64 k in a 50k, A sunday morning 6am I was on my way to work, Maybe I should fix the speedo on my car, lol. Still ****s all of them, and as for radars etc!!!!!! Makes me want to go and smash all of them.
Mike will be along soon to echo that. I just hope Moe has kept the sherry locked up or it might get messy. Luckily I am magnanimous when my predictions come off..
Waiting................ Perhaps a Letter is being written to the daily fail to suggest it wasn't 3-0. No point in getting so far and then not giving it a go... Pathetic gutless display, who would have thunk it.
Maybe if the bratfut millonares where there it wouldn't have happened. Anyway my father in law will get some stick, lol,to be fair he was a park avenue fan.
Nope, outside the cinema where there are no double lines. Think there may be residents parking there.
I was told by a warden that the rules had been altered now and if you displayed your blue badge you can stay up to one week so silly me thought I am just nipping into the library I will be out in a minute thought wrong
Appeal. Cite the conversation. The worst they can do is knock you back, and you still get 14 days to pay at discount if you do. Read the book! What is the contravention code on the pcn? 01 parked in a restricted area? Is the badge yours or moes? Give me something to work with. Anything else to say this morning?
Glory I was parked outside the library at Wetherby displaying my badge which is mine .I got it after contacting TB aand having a triple heart by pass having had 2 heart attacks in a short time leaving me short of breath I was told that when I go to Leeds I can park in a parking area for as long as i Want now I took this up with a tarrific warden and he confirmed this he also said that I can park even in areas that are restricted so I stupidly put me badge up but I thought I dont need to show the time as I was only going to be 2 minutes When I spoke to the warden he said he had started writing out the ticket so he had to continue I was not disrepectable to him Everyone has a job to do he gave me 01 parking in a restricted street Thank yo in advance Mike
Ok. Milk it. Tell them that you have been feeling a particularly frail and unwell (flu) you know that you have to display the clock disc when parking on yellow lines. You had only been there a few minutes to go to library and chemist (see the observation and issue times on the pcn). You did display it but you must have inadvertently knocked the clock disc of the dashboard as you got out of the car and it was in the footwell, (you will be more careful in future). You know it's your responsibility but if the CEO had checked the footwell they would have seen the disc. Then lay it on with a trowel and say how much stress it is causing you and Moe. Probably 50/50 if they cancel but it's worth the e mail/letter. I presume you can appeal on line and save money on stamps.
He was doing the ticket when I arrived but he said he had to finish it even though I pointed out my D ticket was showing!
Aren't you able to drive away & avoid the ticket? I thought you were under no obligation to wait for it and he had to lay the competed ticket on your vehicle for it to be enforced. I'm sure this was what was said on the tv years ago during that series on the London wardens. Glory?
hi i was parked on a single yellow line opposie a t junction, a warden asked the car behind me not to park there again. then she spoke to me saying i had a ticket for parking there which she haddnt wrote / printed out, i got in my car and drove off before she could print it and stick it to my vehicle. thanks Expert: Jo C. replied 2 years ago. Yes, you do have a defence. The Road traffic act demands that the fine is either handed to the driver or affixed to the car. If you drive off before a traffic warden can do either then you do have a challenge. However, it's never that simple. There have been recent changes in 2008 that have allowed them to serve by CCTV but they will not do that here. Apart from anything else there was no CCTV equipment recording from what you say. The real issue here is that traffic wardens have been known to make a mistake and say that they handed a fine to the driver when they did not. If that does happen then you will have to ask for an oral hearing before the adjudicator and demand that the traffic warden attends to be cross examined. It is pretty rare that the council will continue to defend the matter in those circumstances. There is always the risk and if that does happen you will have to defend it. Hope this helps. With respect thats bollocks. Parking is covered under the traffic management act 2004. And if the the contravention has occurred and grace periods have expired Penalty Charge Notices can be sent to the vehicles registered keeper by the post. Local authorities have access to the delay database.
