Just gotv a ticket today in Wetherby cant believe it I put my D badge up and went into the library to returnt a book came out and was getting booked by an over zealous warden I showed him that my badge was being displayed but he said I should have put my clock up .I said you must have seen me park but he said he didnt a bit like Arsene Wenger

I am suprised a man as wise as you didn't read the book that came with your blue badge. Appeal, they may well have a one strike and ur out policy. Even if not, the discount applies for 14 days after they knock you back. The warden wasn't being over zealous its for you to comply with the regs when using you badge so don't say that In Ur letter. If you got gobby with them apologise or they won't even consider cancelling. Was it a LCC ceo?

He was doing it because vehicles were parked in contravention of the double yellow lines. There was a series accident on the Main Street a couple of weeks ago at 21.30 that put a young woman in hospital when she stepped from behind an illegally parked car..,,

Traffic wardens don't exist anymore. Parking was decriminalised in 2004 under the traffic management act and enforcement is under taken by civil enforcement officers on behalf of you friendly local council. I arnt one of those either.
