I actually agree with most of that. We are definitely inferior to Arsenal currently and so would expect you to have a better record in general. I was just trying to answer why your results against the poorer teams are more consistent than ours.
And still no serious mention of Alan Curbishley What Sunderland are doing is making a decision based around desperation and that rarely works as we have seen with Fulham, Reading and Norwich, Leicester and QPR are practically relegated with Burnley unable to string together wins even with their impressive attacking play at times so you would think that Poyet would have just kept them up as they have drawn 14 games and lost the same amount of games as Stoke (who have had a good season). Although only 4 wins all season is terrible so they must be hoping for a new manager to come in, string together 3-4 wins and then even if he turns out to be useless (like Di Canio) then they will sack him next season, yet they are back to the same scenario again.
Hi Tots, nice to see you still around. You always was overly positive thanks to that non league team of yours!
Talking of "rivals" I'm glad the saints have fell away as watching that group of average players try and break the top four has been embarrassing for the premier league. I did hope Stoke (inspired by Crouch) could catch them but that looks unlikely now.
Sunderland had to do something or they looked certain to go down. They may still be for the drop, but things couldn't continue the way they were. I'm just surprised that they waited so long.
Good to see you back on here Boss. Thanks for your recommendation all those months ago, I did make it to the Dores Inn by Loch Ness. Decent beer and decent food .
They done it before with Di Canio then sacked him the following year. Are they going to get lucky again? Hi SC! Nice one, I did wonder about your trip! If you have £750,000 spare you could put in a bid as last time I heard it was up for sale. Plus if you manage to take a photo of nessie then that £750,000 would be made to look a bargain
He's back! Just in time for our Kane for England campaign to reach it's target too Really enjoyed it, thanks. Had 3 of the Borunemouth goals down our end(we were in the North Stand) and a couple of good penalty shouts too. Decent atmosphere too, Blackpool must've only brought about 100 fans but they cheered loudly with every corner they won and every shot, even if it went out for a throw Boruc did his best to make it interesting in the second half trying to nutmeg a forward and flapping at a cross but as I said after Brentford played them, 4-0's about par and when a team's struggling as badly as Blackpool are you don't want to see them totally humiliated. Pretty good on the bets too, my brother went for Brett Pitman(or Brad Pitman as he told me ) to score 2 or more, I went for Bournemouth by 4 or more and I helped him with his bonus bets to get him up to £120 from £30, although that may have dropped down a bit as he still had to play through some of his bonus and I think I put Villareal in his accumulator. It was good to see Adam Smith get on too, not convinced he should be playing right wing, especially with how he tried to finish a one on one with the 'keeper, but he looked lively and we'll hopefully be seeing him in the Premier League next season.
YV. what do we call Harry Kane? the new Alan Shearer, the new Teddy Sheringham? David Bentley was the new David Beckham so I hope Kane's emergence lasts a little bit longer!
He's the new and improved Benzema! Strong, good movement, handy in the air and with the ability to play wide, behind the striker or as the main man up top
Chadli, Kane, Eriksen. Bale, Benzema, Ronaldo. Suarez, Messi, Neymar. Although I still think Barmby, Anderton and Sheringham tops them all .
Yeah, I don't think it's a coincidence that Bale and Ronaldo are being linked with moves away, they're making room for Chadli
