Told them all that City were spent but they chose to believe i said it because Pool beat them. They didn`t want to accept there win was nothing special and prefered to think i was wumming i suppose
They always turn up against us though. Even before the £ they were a thorn in our side. Over a sustained period they have probably been the hardest local derby rivals in the country compared to what Livpl and Arsenal have had to deal with. For that reason, I really dont expect to get more than a point.
After extra time away in Turkey on a Thursday night....yeah okay mate. Its their as well btw Hardly a top tipster are you Lets see if you beat them. They are a really strange team who are struggling with Pell's tic tacs but have wc players but which City will turn up? If I say to you give me a £ 100 that you will beat them would you?
What's so disappointing is we're dropping points to teams that really arent that great. Even last monday, I was there and we should have swatted that arsenal team aside. They really werent all that tbh.
This just goes to show how poor City are at the moment, even after that extra time in Turkey you still had more energy than them And no (apart from the fact i don`t gamble) i wouldn`t back us to beat anybody this season.
Will SG give us a guard of honour if we win the title against you in May. Seeing as you are all writing City enough it is not beyond realms of possibilty
This is exactly what I wrote after that match. It tells more about how bad city are away than any wonderful performance by the RS. If City cannot perform against a team that had struggled in the Europa on Thursday. Granted city will be up for the match against us but at home we have to be expecting 3 points against any side. That will be the key to whether we get top 4 and the match against the RS.
They are reigning champions and currently 2nd in the league Christian, the victory against them kept our unbeaten run going and was a moral booster, whether you rate them or not you can't deny that you'll be creaming your y-fronts if utd beat them next month. They'd only lost once away in the league this season to West Ham before we beat them so don't know why you reckon their away record is poor? Should be a good game at OT next month, maybe the title ain't at stake but a top 4 place and the consequences for Van Gaal if Utd fail might be.
I was talking about current away form. To me city looked gone as far as the title chase is concerned . Their desire and hunger have disappeared. Possibly they had Barca on their minds, but their performance yesterday was just abysmal. Chew on this: if LVG/United had put a performance like that yesterday they would been crucified. What was pellegrini thinking about?
Courtois keeping Chelsea in the game. Man of the match and it's only been 30 mins. Terry and Cahill are so overrated.
Matic escapes a blatant second yellow. Wonder IF mourhino will be picking up on that after the match. Or comparing the rights and wrongs of a shirt pull on a ref to a bone crunching tackle
Cahill's ****e. If Mourinho wasn't so conservative he could have worked on David Luiz's positional play and had a much better centre half in his team than Cahill. That said, I'm sure Luiz is happy to have moved on to bigger and better things!
Cahill is so overrated. Whenever he plays, I think the chavs struggle to win. He is prone to making crucial mistakes. This could have been the weekend City capitalise on Chelsea blip but they contrived to **** it up at Burnley
Is Cahill that rated to be over rated? He's a good solid centre half, not much more but still better than anything United currently have and the best English centre half (save for retiree Terry)...which is worrying.
Any more players from the champions-elect? http://www.not606.com/threads/mafia-5-sign-up-sheet-target-date-23rd-march.293784/
He is a dire CB, carried by much better players around him. But I agree with UTDs CBs they are not good enough
