Just to get away from the SS (Slade Slagging <laugh>) for a while, have a think about this.

I put this question up a couple of years back and some of you may remember it. If you know the answer from back then, please hold your horses for a while and let others have a shot at it.

During a game, a goalkeeper takes a dead ball goal kick out from his 6 yard box. He gives it an almighty swipe into the teeth of a gale, but such is the force of the wind, the ball rises up in the air and goes over his head and back into his own goal.

What decision should the referee give?

If the ball did not leave the penalty area it should be retaken.
If the ball left the penalty area its a corner

This is one of those strange ones. If it left the penalty area and was not touched by another player then I think it's a corner.

Anyway Sparks, what's wrong with a bit of Slade bashing?

Nothing at all - you might have noticed I'm not averse to indulge in it on other threads.

Not just for the sake of it though, I actually believe it and won't be happy until he's gone.

Mind you, who the hell is Tan going to pick next time?

That's OK Barry - just remember if you're a friend of Bluey, you're an enemy of mine......<laugh>

Only joking pal - just no one likes a smart arse. <ok>
