True. Mackay's record is pretty awful also, 12 losses in 19. I did wonder when Whelan stepped down whether it was in part because he didn't feel he could be the one to sack Malky after putting so much on the line bringing him in but I think it's too late for them to bother sacking him now. A loss to Rotherham on the weekend and I think they're as good as down. They've got a really tough run of games afterwards and they really need at least 3 wins from their next 5 to give them a chance ahead of the key games against Fulham, Millwall and Brighton. I can't say I have much sympathy for the club, they've brought the problems on themselves.

Similar to Neil Warnock, clubs give him the benefit of the doubt as they think he can turn their fortunes around because he got Blackpool and Palace promoted - ignoring the part where he did sod all of note at Bristol Rovers, QPR, Plymouth or Leicester other than talk about the size of his hamster's schlong.

Great game in Madrid. Awful defending for the goals but the attackers are really exploiting the space in an open game. Awful 'keeping for both Schalke's goals and Real's second, mind you.

Schalke were a wopping 14/1 to win tonight and it was very generous 13/2 for the draw. I was feeling pretty smug about putting a draw down in my 20/1 treble tonight but I've just seen Rangers and Bristol are drawing at half time too :(

I'd like to see Modric, Bale and Lloris playing together in white, but not for ****ing Real! <grr>
Even if they were to go after De Gea instead, I expect Utd would turn straight to our Frenchman.

Casillas is playing terrible at the moment - so is Bale for that matter. Cheeky bid in the Summer?
 
Very entertaining stuff. Bet didn't work out but oh well, it was always a punt.

Great to see Modric back. I tried to hate him but I just love watching him play, he's as good as Xavi ever was in my opinion.
 
Gutted for Schalke. What a performance.

Madrid fans just strengthen my hate towards the club in general, waving about ****ing white hankys despite qualifying for a CL quarter final, utter idiots.
