I know where you're coming from on this, but both clubs are well used to playing every weekend, every midweek and have done for years at this stage of the season. I doubt if a draw, a replay and then maybe extra time will have any effect on where we finish up in the league.
Oliver gets it wrong, IMO. Yes, Di Maria goes down easily, but Ramsey did try to grab his arm. Maybe no foul, but a yellow for diving? Not for me. The Red is just as bad, all Oliver had to do was tell him to calm down - Di Maria hardly touched him.
Ditto for you With our young core of talented players and Liverpool seemingly sorting themselves out you could be in for a long spell on the sidelines if you miss out on top 4 again this season, especially since Van Gaal will likely be your manager next season too.
Lucky for Van Galling that he didn't come across like a complete blue waffle by saying Welbeck was only good enough to be a substitute so letting him go was no problem, as that's the sort of comment that can come back to bite some people. Oh wait, he did: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...nly-to-be-a-Manchester-United-substitute.html (No, you SHOULD NOT look up the term "blue waffle" on Google...)
There's no way that's a red if Ferguson's still the manager. I doubt it would even be a yellow. Di Maria's been largely ineffective this year though, so he probably won't be missed. Might help them, unfortunately.
Funny how Pool and the Goons avoided each other in the draw, still it wouldn't do to have teams not in the premiership,in the final,if possible
That is a problem I was thinking of when RVP got injured. LVG seemed to have this "policy" of trying to fit all the big stars into the team, regardless of whether it worked or not - with many players out of positionj. With injuries and suspensions it makes his decisions perhaps easier, and those that are left might even be a better team - so yes, we could actually suffer because LVG can't play the people he wants.
Holloway's gone, Spurcat will be pleased. Nope, no bets. Didn't even watch the game as I had a meeting, you had any good wins lately?
Holloway's been disastrous for Millwall, but putting Harris in for the remainder of the season smacks of accepting relegation. It would be nice if whoever gets the job in the long term restarts their loan relationship with us. Townsend and Kane both had productive spells there and other youngsters have gained useful experience, too.
Haha. I can't understand what has taken them so long to do what should have been done weeks ago. His record there is appalling.
