I was disappointed we didn't sing 'That is Embarrassing' back at them.
 
Its worth remembering that the man hasn't been convicted of anything yet, so for our fans to chant peado was just as embarrassing, if not worse.

Having said that it would have been wise for Sunderland fans to keep quiet as if he does get convicted it will come back to haunt them.

True. Innocent until proven guilty seems to be a decreasing concept in this country. And, as you said, chanting support of him is equally ill advised.

Poor show from both sides chanting about this situation. Shows lack of class all round. They were proud enough to carry it on chanting over the bridge. Imagine how proud their mothers/sisters/nieces will be of them. It is innocent till proven guilty. However not sure how true that actually is given that people were chanting in favour of a convicted rapist not so long ago and on here I recall. So maybe it should be innocent till proven guilty and innocent if I think you are even though you've been convicted of a sex crime.

The situation was further provoked by the continual flashing up of the Sexual Exploitation advert on the screen.

Of course it has nowt to do with AJ. It's about sexual exploitation of children not sex with an underage girl. Only an idiot wouldn't know the difference.

Are you accusing Adam Johnson or someone else off in some way profiting from sex with this girl in addition not knowing if he in fact did it or not? I'd agree with you, it's got nowt to do with AJ, but, if further down the line he is found guilty of sex with an underage girl, then he surely will have taken advantage of her no? By the definitions you've put up this would be exploitation, in this case sexual exploitation. Only a blinkered idiot would try to say there is a difference :emoticon-0105-wink:

Technically she will have equally taken advantage of him, as she knew it was against the law, whereas AJ didn't know she was underage.
