I honestly think that the main problem by far at the moment is our CBs. Fix that and we'd be getting better results.

We miss Dunne so much and all the other CBs in the squad don't have the right to be above Clint Hill in pecking order. Clint Hill has been written off yet again even though the people who get a starting place instead of him keeping ****ing up.

Hmmm, didn't enjoy that. Ramsey's been dealt a pretty dodgy hand, made worse with injuries. All the players tried really hard, we had chances, I haven't seen replays of the potential penalties but the handball one was not, the ball was hit far too close to him for evasive action.

Anyway, we didn't deserve more than a point and that would have been very generous. Our defence was not up to it, they had some very good spells of attacking football, though their defence doesn't look too clever. Perhaps if we hadn't persisted with hoof ball we might have tested them more. I didn't like the way we played, and I don't understand why we don't at least try to play with a number 10.

Not much fun today, we were better against Arsenal, who are a better team than Spurs.

I couldn't tell whether the handball should have been given, but I thought that the keeper's challenge on Isla was a cert penalty and could have been a red card too.

We've got loads but none, apparently, available to play except Nico. Anyway, no point crying over spilt milk. Clearly we are going to do this the hard way, if we do it.

Watched it on the internet and have to say it looked messy... maybe that's the idea? Still it did look like we were calm as well as competitive, looks weak at the back on the two goals but seriously not far away imo from a team that can compete with the likes of two very good sides in Arsenal and Spurs

I have Palace tickets so that will be the test

    Waiting for Adel

    Awful!
More of the same hoof ball. I have neck ache from watching the ball in the air so much.
Ramsey and Redknapp produce identical teams imo.
We can't play hoof ball 4-4-2 with two defensive central midfielders. It means that we simply don't have enough numbers around the forwards when we lump the ball up the pitch.
Rio was terrible and Clint would have been a better choice. Caulker was as bad as ever and Yun was ripped a new one.
Henry was our best player which says it all.
Phillips was back to being ****, wwandering all over the pitch at times and leaving us totally unbalanced. Isla at least looks like a proper footballer.
I hope to **** that both Vargas and Zarate were injured or else Ramsey had an even bigger mare than I'd thought.
Spurs were very good and passed us to death at times.
So glad that I haven't got to sit through such Sunday league **** from us too many more times.

    Looked like we were calm!!!!?
All we did was panic in possession and either hacked it straight back to spurs or out of play.
Paul, it was cave man football mate.
    Just awful.

We were playing two teams who had been playing at three day intervals during the past two weeks when we have been playing no-one, we were better than Arsenal in the first half because we were fresher, once they upped their game we were left for dead. Today we were abysmal.

We're light years away from 'competing' with such teams...

a bit unfair imo. Spurs were not significantly better than us today at all. They knocked it around nicely and kept possession, which you'd expect, but they didn't create a huge amount. Of course they looked more polished than us but ultimately we missed our chances and had a couple of good peno shouts turned down. We should have got a draw out of it.

That's very harsh Soops. I thought we played quite well today and the other night against the Arsenal. On their own I think they're good performances and I can understand why Rambo went the way he did. Unfortunately because of the position we've got ourselves into, its still not good enough. We need points, not moral victories. If we don't beat the Palace then I think we're screwed.

    Hammersmith and City line out.
Had to get to Marylebone the hard way
Missed my train by a minute.
    Just got home
Shown hand ball incident on train ...we were well done on that.

This is as low as it can get.
    CONCLUSIONS
    We were bad.
Spurs are not as good as Arsenal.
    Spurs have an awful defence
    Kane is better than Austin.
What I would give fora 21 year old Bobby Zamora
Ramsey has them playing for him
Is he really t hat inept to send SWP on in injury time......yes
    It is not over yet
But the fat lady is approaching the stage......

I just felt that once we go behind again such opposition they just coast along content to take an easy win without over-extending themselves. We huff and puff but ultimately are always coming up short. As I said earlier, I didn't expect anything out of those two matches so I feel we are no worse off, it's just the psychological impact of consecutive defeats that will undermine our cause...

Nice post, unfortunately I don't agree with the highlighted bit.

Under his watch, we have player 5, won 1, drew 0 and lost 4. If that form continues, we are going down.

thats totally fair enough - theres no point in losing 2 - 1 every week and being the perpetual 'valiant losers pipped at the post'. we needed at least a point against arsenal or spurs and we've got nothing. thats a real nail in our coffin. But to be fair, we are actually competing well at the moment. We're always going to look ugly against spurs but we weren't far off getting a point today. Both of their goals were down to shocking defending from us not sublime genius on their part. If we get relegated so be it but at least we're going down fighting.

Spurs were much better than some on here are giving them credit for.
Superb passing through the midfield and third man runs being made all over the pitch.
Why shouldn't we at least try to keep the ball and pass it to each other?
As for that last minute substitution, it was clearly a case of Ramsey letting his mate Sandro have a standing ovation from the travelling spurs fans.
    He'd lasted 93 minutes and wasn't injured.
    Pathetic!

We don't have the players, that is, the squad, we are just not good enough at this level at the moment, we all had a great day out last May but really were we the better the team? If anyone thinks different they should either change their blind allegiance or choose another sport to follow. 3 points from 16 has relegation all over it. Let's build for the future. TF is not blameless either.
