Auntie's headline about yesterday's game. Btw, had to dig this thread out from page 3. You're slipping, Astro.
Danny Murphy is probably the best of their pudits though. Last night on MOTD it was a Manc fan talking to an ex-Manc about how amazing Herrera's scuffed bobbler was compared to Coutinho's screamer which only got 71% of the vote because Liverpool fans would be watching yesterday.
in fairness now herrara's shot was not scuffed. you could see how he set his body eprfect to aim for that post and he hit the ball exactly where he meant to. it was not deserving on a goal of the month nomination though..... If henderson did this... at all... he'd score a lot more as he is usually wildly off target as he closes his eyes and swings. Props to herrera for competent technique i say. he's proved a few times this season he's got that part down.
The article itself is ok- it's just the choice of headline that the sub-editor (if they still have such things) comes up with. Like the "Sturridge anxious about return" one.
All McCunty probably does these days is twist the headlines for his #bitter purposes while still deciding when he needs to jump on the Van Gaal Out bandwagon
I'm so pleased I gave the thread a boost- now all we need is Saintsfan to come back and give us down the banks for having a go.
He reckons we're paranoid about bbc salford but believes referees deliberately and dishonestly give Liverpool FC help in winning games. His post on the yoonited board. "Have to admit I feel a bit sorry for Man Utd. If it had been Utd on the the favorable end of Kevin Friend's s performance that Liverpool got at St.Marys last week there would be uproar and the usual Bashing of United and strong suggestions that these sort of decisions were the major factor of United's success over the last 20 years. However when its Liverpool people shrug it off as " it just goes thatway sometimes" despite the constant referee bias towards Liverpool that is only really picked up by those who follow the game very intensely."
Bit harsh to say it was scuffed, and he was talking about City as you were obviously playing them so dont bring us in to it
Wish that 'constant' bias was there when WBA were awarded a pen at Anfield this season that was two yards outside the box; when we had a stonewall pen denied and Barry not sent off against the ****e; when Cahill simply leaned his arm into two goalbound shots (that even one-eyed Jose has now admitted were nailed-on); when Mata scored the pivotal goal against us at OT that was four yards offside..... (continues for further six pages)
The offsides are where the #corruption is blatant (that is why video tech keeps getting put off) The wrong decisions against us like Sterling against City and Mata aren't even close to being difficult decisions Yet when we put in two goals yesterday against City that were a couple of inches offside the linesmen had no difficulty spotting it
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/31688039 Team of the week "...perhaps Brendan Rodgers might think about making Henderson the new captain." Really Garth, you think?
Henderson so only wearing the arm band in the picture he used for his article Also has young in as a defender Kurt Zouma or whatever his name is, was lost completely for 45 minutes or more v Spurs, didn't know what to be doing in that position(not that Chelsea really needed him to be great) and he has him in too
So, Hendo gets made skipper after Stevie goes, cue Garth saying "I called this in March". You have to admire his balls- every week he makes himself look a bigger knob than previously, but he just keeps bashing away.
