WTF????

He fell down a hole? Like a man hole? or a sink hole? or one of those huge holes in the earth that are appearing like in Russia? Some more info on this would be nice just for the context.

You know it's not gonna be your day when Brady falls down a ****ing hole, I wish he could have got the message out to the poor buggers that travelled to Stoke before they set off.

Iv'e never been to our training ground, but it sounds ****e. I cut my knee open on a smashed up car windscreen on Queen Liz playing fields, whilst performing the sliding tackle. I didn't really expect to find a car windscreen on a football pitch, and i doubt Robbie knew there would be a sink hole on a premier league training field.

Iv'e seen carrier bags on the pitch, during games at the KC. What if Jela tripped on one and broke his neck and died ? It's awful.

Them huge holes in the earth, appearing in Russia. They're called sink holes.

There is some debate as to whether they are actually holes caused by methane gas explosions.

See the dirt protruding out like it has been caused by an explosion? Anyway methane is the probable cause from what they are saying.

I know the players aren't comparable - but this has to remind me of a City injury from my childhood where Andy Holt (left back in 01-03?) couldn't play for two weeks after... dropping a sofa on his foot. There's always a daft injury somewhere - just a shame it's come to possibly, our most technically gifted player. Mr. Robertson isn't a bad back up though!

Didn't one of them drop a box of tiles on his foot too?

Mind you, some of the published reasons are often to cover up something else, like the Mansfield/Stoke lad that was supposed to have tripped over his dog.

Edit: Liam Lawrence.

I think Simon Dakin going down a lift shaft has got to be up there when it comes to comedy injuries.

Actually it probably wasn't funny at all for him. Maybe comedy isn't the word.

I was just going to post that one. I think he'd just had a good run in the team & performed well if my memory serves me.
