he difference between this man u and the man u which has struggled recently is Rooney playing further up the pitch. Therefore it's incomparable in my opinion and not worth twisting on about it especially as our goals were conceded with 10 men. I'll reserve judgment till after the Hull game.

To some, Sunderland losing at Old Trafford is not that big a shock. I'd include myself in that and don't see the nee to get hysterical.

It's good that the manager and players share you're opinion, hence the reason why we lost today.

It looks like they went out with your exact train of thought. Both teams might as well of stayed at home today, the result was conclusive before give off.

Let's hope we start to beat the teams around us, because we haven't been doing that either.

Every single game has 3 points available in the premier league, we never look past the 1 point.

4 wins out of 27 games, absolutely disgraceful for a club of our size. And whilst we've got poyet and his negative attitude, we will never get what us fans deserve.

QPR took six points from us. (you say they are sh*te ) Hull wiped us out. Many of us don't subscribe to that league position this early.
How can you even say the league table doesn't lie when it's this this early ? The league table does't lie after 38 games….. we can't beat teams around us at home we are in trouble. 38 games is when you judge it, not now. Were Norwich a great team with 8 games to go last year ?

Just venting my frustration on a poor season for our club. I hate the attitude of "we're not expected to win at utd so why should we"

Like I said, it's a good job the players and manager share the same opinion. It should see us continue to flirt with relegation and then eventually get relegated.

I believe a club with the fan base we have deserve better. We need a manager who gives us better. I'm fed up of the defeatist attitude.

One of my biggest disappointments today was not giving a run out to Watmore. Especially when we went to 10 men. It was crying out for someone to keep the ball and run at them. Giving him even 15 mins would have been great experience. Fletcher was a waste of space when he came on. We so lack pace in our team. This Watmore lad can be a big player for us going forward...

"This early"?????? Well how many games do you have to play? 35??? The league table never lies. After 1 game if you lose 5-0 and are bottom it is a true reflection at that time! The league does not lie. Even now. Up to now, Man Utd are the third best team in the league.

I'm not saying we should rollover to teams like Man U. I just get more frustated personally when we don't beat lesser opposition. I can't see me being quite so nonchalent if we don't beat Hull.

I get the argument on both sides of the coin about the league table not lying, At the end of 38 games that's when I agree the league table doesn't lie. Currently Leicester are bottom of the league but by performances shown they certainly don't deserve to be there and have been very unlucky.

For me there's only McClaren but there's no way he'd leave Derby for us with the position they are in. I'm still ok with giving Poyet another season personally.

Laudrup is available i would have him. If we lose to hull poyet has to go if we win it will paper over the cracks not sure wots best to be honest. I never want us to lose but the football we play is awful to watch and 1 win isnt going to change that.
