Kevin Ball is a legend at the club - for that exact reason I never want him managing us whilst we are struggling. If we are sitting comfortably and he just has to take over the reins of an already steady ship then great - If we are fighting for the top 6 then great. If we are battling relegation then no way. I can;t handle the crown turning on someone I have always thought so much of in a Sunderland context. That said - every time he's been in charge we've played pretty crap!! No go on Bally for me. Steve McLaren is the only person (semi-realistically) I'd like to see manage SAFC
