in the 2013/2014 season Ball lost to Liverpool and Man U, but the team played well in those 2 games. Shame we can't loan him out to manage a lower league team and see how he does before bringing him back :D

I wouldnt get rid of Poyet now though, all the managers since Keane bought us back up have had crap 2nd seasons. We'd go through all of this again no matter who we brought in IMO
Kevin Ball is a legend at the club - for that exact reason I never want him managing us whilst we are struggling.

If we are sitting comfortably and he just has to take over the reins of an already steady ship then great - If we are fighting for the top 6 then great. If we are battling relegation then no way. I can;t handle the crown turning on someone I have always thought so much of in a Sunderland context.

That said - every time he's been in charge we've played pretty crap!!

No go on Bally for me. Steve McLaren is the only person (semi-realistically) I'd like to see manage SAFC
