Last time I was in the UK there were loads of road killed pheasants on the A1 north of Wetherby. I suppose it's an alternative to getting shot by some toff in tweeds and brogues.

At my mams she gets loads of wildlife in her garden.

In the last year she's had badges, foxes, squirrels and hedgehogs in his garden.

You'd think she lived in the middle of nowhere. She lives on Bransholme.

Your mam, she gets various wildlife in "his" garden?

I aint judging btw, live and let live is my motto.

When I lived at my mums, there used to be all kinds of wonderful and delightful critters visit the garden. Her house backs on to fields and out into open countryside.

Then I bought an air rifle. A legal limit hunting rifle, not a cheap piece of crap. My bedroom was at the back of the house you see, so I'd sit next to my window, air rifle ready, playing on my playstation and waiting for prey to appear.

I never did tell my mum why the bird food kept going uneaten and her two favourite pigeons that used to spend most the day at the bird table thing both mysteriously disappeared.

In more recent times, it came in extremely handy to deliver justice on a pair of crows who kept attacking all the cars in the area, pulling off seals/aerials etc.

    Kinell Hat, have a heart.

How low do you think a crow has had to sink before offering such services to semi-aquatic marine mammals appears to be the best option.

They were cawing out for help ffs and you shot them.

    Shame on you.

And look at the way we've shaped much of the entire planet? ****ing magnificent.

Australia on the other hand gave us Crocodile Dundee and a lower UK crime rate.

This is a photo from a couple towns away down the ridge from me 4 days ago. It was taken by a game camera on some ladies fence line. Can you imagine walking out to get the mail or something after dark and you walk upon 4 fully grown mountain lions? The 3 cubs must just be days away from leaving their mother as there is no size difference.

My mate goes on a Bush trip to Thailand every year. Last went in January and when I him saw in the (noisy) bar the other week he reckoned the hunt was fantastic. I don't know why Hattie messes around with an air rifle in his mum's garden. :emoticon-0114-dull:

What's the divorce rate like around you, Ellewoods? It must be a tad lonely and isolated at times. I know that in the wilds of Newcastle the divorce rate seems to have a direct bearing on the Cougar population. Horn(er)y critters, they are!

You don't need to divorce, just send her into the garden when the lions are passing through.

Anyone ever find that when you start talking about something it just keeps going and going? That whole everything happens in threes thing? Well seriously, my dog just tried to attack a mountain lion like 20 min ago when I was out getting the mail. She showed her teeth at something just a few feet in the bushes at the top of my driveway and started barking and trying to pull off the leash to fight it. It was really close and sounded heavy and just strolled away, I never saw it. Then I walk just a few feet further down the driveway trying to pull the dog with me who still wants to fight whatever it is and I find Mountain Lion tracks. The gravel is real lose so its hard to get the best photo but they are just about 5 inches.
