A hero of mine.

Today posthumously exonerated for being a ****ter. No mention of his staggering achievement.

A man whose genius during the war effort of WWII saved thousands of lives, if not tens of thousands or more.

Thanks, Great Britain. A **** did well and you acknowledge it almost 80 years later. Am so proud to be British.

Some prominent **** that I follow (not in a stalkerish way - but on Twitter) made the observation that there was no point giving Turing a pardon if everyone else charged with the same offense wasn't pardoned too. Otherwise you're saying it's only OK to be a **** if you're a mathematical genius.

As a prominent ****, I agree with you.

It's a shame on this nation that our ****s were jailed or murdered regardless of their ability. Worse, they took their own lives as did Mr Turing because they were hounded into it by an establishment that no longer felt their gifts to them outweighed their ****ery. That's a ****in crime.

I, Gambol, am a ****! (aesthetically, am no keen on havin a boaby up ma chute, or a bloke touch ma boaby, but am quite willing to kiss a bloke again)

oh well, worse things happen at sea.

musn't grumble Mr Grimthorpe.

Am being serious <grr>

The government (lower case cos they don't deserve a big "G") are giving out exonerations to ****tas as if none of they ****s were ever cock pilots.

Mr Alan Turing

A genius. The father of ALL modern computing and who first looked into artificial intelligence from a view of a bio-mechanist. Wrap yer chops roon that.

Killed, by his own hand via cyanide, hounded by an establishment that thought they had non-****s to carry on his work.

They thought wrong.

Or? Was he murdered?

Where or when will be the Alan Turing movie?

The ****s made one about a spastic in a wheelchair who makes ye want to puke looking at him with his funny voice box (Hawking). That prick only ever talks theory. He's never had a wet dick. Yet he espouses ****e about multiple universes and it's manna.

Is this where we're at? A spastic dances for our amusement and is lauded but a ****ta actually proves his own genius many times over and is killed for it.

Disny matter, 80 years later, he's exonerated. Of being a ****.
