It's not just Pelle. The attack is just all out of sync.

PGMOL so horrible. Trying to defend Mignolet's handball. Not only is their reasoning terrible, but they don't issue a statement on the other blatant red.

Maybe they didn't have the oh-so-wonderful possession that we had, but they look like they can score at any moment. We are absolutely clueless in the final third.

They had about 4 shots. Two of which were at the end when we'd run out of ideas and legs. I thought they defended well, but nothing special going forward at all.

Ugh. Horrid game and result, but just hope heads don't drop amongst the lads as a consequence of this. Top four is still very much there for us.

Getting to be quite unlikely. Last four have been three home games (against decent-but-unspectacular defenses) and one away game (against the worst defense in the league). We've scored once, and gone long stretches where we've created nothing of any real quality.

The only ace up our sleeve is the 3-5-2 which was used to great effect earlier. But playing 4-3-3 with Pelle up top, even 6th will take some doing.

Not sure why everyone is so negative about the possibility - get one in off Pellé's arse at some stage, get his confidence back and things will start to happen again. It's entirely possible, particularly as we don't have the toughest run-in (on paper).

We didn't score again, disappointing, but it's difficult to score when the opponents are allowed to chop you down and use their hands outside the box. This game would have played out very differently, if not for the poor decisions made by the officials.

Unlucky today guys. You should have had a pen when Allen took the guy out and probably would have been red card.

Think ref got all the others correct though including our 'penalty claim'

think we rode our luck and if we replayed the first half you'd probably score 1 or 2.

Good luck for the rest of the season, if we can't get top 4 then hope you guys are there ahead of any of the others <ok>

Oh oh and if you fancy taking back for the £8m you originally paid I'm sure we can do a deal

Could be many weeks before we bank one off Pelle; he isn't been getting into the sort of positions where even a lucky bounce could go in. It's time for him to sit; whether it's fatigue or lack of confidence or some combination thereof, he's good for a couple flicked headers a game and not a hell of a lot else right now.

Thought we were okay but once again without a real cutting edge. My worry with a 433 is that you need someone to knit together the midfield and attack, and Davis, Ward-Prowse and Djuricic between them didn't perform. Liverpool gave a classic 352 performance that was solid if unspectacular and didn't really threaten and I don't think were worth two goals.

on the plus side , we havent got the worst run in, I think top 6 is an easy target we just need to start scoring again the top4 should still be our aim.
