Up my own arse
A feisty 1-0 defeat to the German 4th Division cracks, Lotte, was not enough to sadden the rosy cheeks of cheeky chappie rookie manager Ally McCoist tonight here in...errr..Lotte.

He was asked how he thought his team had done and he replied "Lotte are no mugs, we knew we were in for a tough game and that's the way it panned out, mind you to be fair they started pre season training a day before we did so they're a wee bit sharper".

Gunter Von Hagglesbladder a local Bratwurst seller scored the only goal of the game before being substituted to the applause of the locals, he then proceeded to start selling his savoury sausages to the hungry crowd...............with some relish.

Otto Unterstein was unlucky when he hit the woodwork in the second half, it was ironic as he is a part time carpenter to trade.

A crowd of just over 370 packed into the compact Lotte ground, The Rangers fans once again behaved impeccably and the match had a real party atmosphere as opposing fans waved playfully at each other during the enthralling 90 minutes.

Some slick play by Rangers in the match went unrewarded with the new player, "Juan Signing-Sofar" , making an impressive debut at right back, left back and left midfield.

Rangers outscored Lotte in corners 2-1 and Super Ally reckons that bodes well when he said "Aye, one of our shots on goal was only 6 yards wide, that could have changed the whole game, but overall i'm delighted to come away with only a 1-0 defeat.

When it was pointed out to Ally that he was no longer just managing for Cup games he retorted..quick as a flash "Ah know, i'm some joker um a no?".
