Not fussed about City tbh. The difference between 2nd or 3rd is irrelevant - we won't catch Chelsea so the focus is on keeping in the top four. I'd prefer Arsenal, Southampton and Spurs drop points rather than City.
Thinking same thing. Just want teams around us to drop today. And you to get nothing in Wales of course with Shelvey marauding, hahahahaha Chelsea 1-up already... booooooooooooring
Sorry boys. Totally called that one Jonjo, Jonjo Jonjo, Jonjo Jonjo, Jonjo Jonjo Shelvey!!! Hahahahahaha
Will the RS beat the saints tomorrow to keep United in top 4? If the saints win they will be very difficult to displace and the RS can forget it for another season. It will be ****ing great to see these deluded RS fighting for their CL lives (and helping United in the process).
We still have a chance of 4th Christian, tomorrow we're playing for ourselves nobody else and to(if we win)gain points on the club in that current position, if it goes tits up against the Saints it'll hurt us more chasing a CL place than Utd because they'll be sitting pretty for a Thursday night Europa League place. #thursdaynightunited
I'm just trying to point out to Christian that there maybe a worst fate awaiting united than he thinks if we get beat tomorrow, its a wonder he's not hoping for a draw. The last time we truly did united a favour they lost when it really mattered so let's hope history repeats itself.
I really think it's between United and Liverpool. But our race car is beginning to choke and splutter while yours is swerving up on the inside lane. Basically a fcked up footballing equivalent of Herbie Goes Bananas
Looks like the Arsenal implosion ain't gonna happen this year, so united, saints, spurs and us trying for that final spot, united and saints have the advantage of not having Europy to get in the way so you and saints joint favourites? United would have gained a few more points if the manager used a horses for courses approach instead of being stubborn.
Well winning the Europa will make the fight for 4th invalid so I'm with you. As long as you're sure we'll win it.
I am literally fcked off that I can't laugh at being 10 points ahead and cruising to top 4 tbh. LVG has made it harder than it needed to be. And if I'm being honest, we needed to be 5 points clear (at least) of 5th at the run in, to get top 4. Instead, looks like we'll be in a dogfight at the end and I don't fancy that at all with the way we're playing.
He is persisting with a system that is alien to Utd as a club. That doesn't help. I've also heard that he's put a barrier up between the first team and the other squad players and youngsters aren't allowed to train with the 1st XI I don't know what happened with your signings. On paper a few of them looked good. Di Maria isn't showing up as anywhere near a 60 mill player though he did start well. Falcao is done if you ask me, that injury ended him. Rooney is being played far too deep.
This is par for the course. "The race car has been spluttering since day one - the day ferguson retired." This period of uncertainty was certainly predicted as soon as ferguson announced his departure. The idea that Moyes or anyone else could just replicate in one or two years what he did over many years was simply unrealistic. I said so at the time. It doesn't matter how much is spent or WHO is appointed we will experience a period of drifting away from the top and inconsistency. This is exactly what is occurring. When we get a result we are playing badly and when we play better we can't get a result. We are playing most of the time at 50%. It is pointless blaming LVG as it was pointless blaming Moyes last season. Our away form was better than our home one last season. It is reversed this season. Massive struggle between many teams for the 2 remaining CL places. When I said it will be a huge achievement for LVG to get a CL place people said I was exaggerating and no it wouldn't have been easier with another manager.
