Just managed to get online now, half way round the world, to find we are 1-1 at half time with only ten men on the pitch. What did Barton do that deserved a straight red? Is it really the same old Joey or was he unluckily judged by the ref?
Doughty on for Bobby. According to the commentators on my stream (some US channel with Dichio on the half time panel) his 'usual' position is left side midfield. Which is where he is playing, Austin up on his own.
I've been impressed. The team's been Classic Joey. Tries to punch Huddlestone in the balls right in front of the ref.

This is actually pretty impressive, very calm, real commitment from all, Hull look frustrated and their fans sound it. And we still pose a bit of a threat. Good performance under the Barton inflicted circumstances, whatever the result. Time is passing very slowly though.....
A good call. I'm not sure which I'd introduce into a game like this. I like Karate Zarate, but he's a bit of a ball-hogger. Think maybe Vargas for his pace and a little more width?
