Sorry to be a killjoy now it's done, but isnt it a bit lacking in imagination? It's just a copy of In Arsene We Trust.
Other than that it looks really good, the quality is great.
If it's not to your taste, why don't you:
1) raise some funds
2) design a banner
3) find a printer
4) arrange delivery
5) liaise with the club to agree location
6) go to the KC to arrange hanging of banner
You just can't please some people....
Dutch, well done on organising the banner on behalf of the users of this forum. Thanks.
At the risk of sounding like an Oscar winners speach:
Obviously I'm more than happy to take all the plaudits, but that list you've posted shows I couldn't possibly have done it without the help and support of a lot of other people.
I really hope I don't miss anyone out here, but special mentions for Barmy Flags, for doing everything in their power to make it go smoothly and within the promised time frames with absolutely no fuss. Highly recommended. To exiled for putting us onto Barmy Flags and advice on banners. To the Hull City Southern Supporters for the use of their account for the donations. Maulled1904 for his excellent designs and his hard work for this and the other banner. To the OSC for their support and also to the supporters trust.
Special thanks also to James Mooney and Dave Gregory for their help and advice on getting the banner up at the stadium.
To everyone that donated and helped by supporting or offering suggestions.
It was a great joint effort, and shows we can all pull together for the good of the club. Let's try to build on that feeling.
I thought it went missing , where did they find it ?
Did you wear a nice tiara to go with your new dress for your acceptance speech Shirl?
Please tell me there's no plans to have those daft Mega Flags on carbon fibre poles that get lifted and waved when the team scores?
Firstly, we'd never get value for money out of them and secondly, those at Arsenal just like rent-a-celebration equipment!

I think we could do a variation on that theme, and use the carbon pole idea, but with papier mache heads of the opposing manager and their star players to be waved as we score.![]()
Someone had taken it down for safe keeping prior the rugby game, which makes sense. They'd stored it neatly and safely in a cupboard, but nobody else knew.
The SMC have kindly offered to take it down after each game, store it and put it back up when we're next at home.
