Bovril, love the stuff, have it spread on toast every morning, yummy,do you know Greavsie used to advertise it?
I have a feeling I saw an advert years ago of Stanley Matthews advertising a cigarette (Craven A ?) and I'm sure he didn't smoke!

The main talking points from today in court...
* HSBC are putting up £350m to cover any potential shortfalls in funding
* There's a fifty page document from Haringey council detailing the benefits of the new stadium, which Arseway apparently didn't read
* The CPO is not tied to the size of the stadium, as Arseway claimed
* Justice Dove is a Villa fan, so there goes any attempts to cry bias

So what was Arseway's response to having their appeal obliterated by lawyers for Spurs and Haringey Council?

I hope none of you are carrying hot liquids when you read this...

They whinged about their human rights.

All this nonsense must be costing Arsewipe Steel a fortune in legal fees!. I wonder who's footing the bill?...

The judge has ruled in our favour, declaring that there's "no legal flaw" in the decision making process.
That should be it now, unless they successfully appeal the decision, which seems unlikely.
Hopefully they'll piss off now.

BT Sport have dropped Stan Collymore as a commentator, because he criticised Rangers singing sectarian songs.
I don't like the guy, but that seems a bit off. Michael Owen's absolute **** and they haven't dropped him.
Could somebody try to get him to make a few controversial comments, please?

I seem to remember "I wish you an interesting life" is an Irish curse.

Isn't "Have an interesting life" an Irish curse?

Too dull isn't good, but too interesting is much worse.

It's a Chinese saying/curse (though may also be Irish for all I know)..... "May you live in interesting times". Just as the people of the Crimea are now living in an "interesting" time or those residents of London in 1666 had an "interesting" time. It's a bit 'be careful what you wish for'. Dull is nice and predictable!

Which past history dictates that the ****ers probably will!...
From the THFC site (thanks to Croydon's link elsewhere) they have been refused leave to appeal, but they can go to a higher court. But it seems there is little point and they are just racking up more and more legal fees. Hopefully they know they are beaten. Not to say they won't handcuff themselves to the building, but it's nearly over I think.

I would not be surprised if Arseway wait until day 21 before lodging another appeal, they have been intent on delaying the NDP for as long as possible. I would love to know their motives (apart from ££££££ of course), they must have known their case is weak, seems they have been badly advised or are just wanting to delay things as long as possible.
