I think that the excitement felt by most Sunderland fans is being lost on a few, totally lost on our thick mates from NE1, best summed up in that old saying...Never Mind The Quality, Feel The Width


We know that the eye catching, edge of the seat signing is not here yet. We should be savvy enough to work out that the individual quality of the players brought in may not excite, its what they bring in total that does.

Look at the combined skills, experience, attitude and desire, that’s what Bruce has bought.

I’m sure that the one or two edge of the seat signings are on their way.

Syd - its only July 7th and we have brought in (if Vaughan signs tomorrow) 9 players. Still a long way to go yet and those marquee signings were always going to be the last ones on purpose. I think the fact O Shea, Brown, Larsson, Gardener and Wickham were so eager to put pen to paper is the fact Bruce has told them who could be coming and that has excited them to want to come as well.
