It's a tough open to call. Neither have been on form, I still have hope of Gomis getting into gear, he is working hard, just needs to get in the box. Seems a lot fitter than Shelvey - does he smoke 50 a day or something?

Going for us to win 2-1, us to concede first as usual and Gomis to score

I see nothing in WBA's play that should worry us, we should be able to cope with them; baring any dodgy red cards or dubious decisions, it's been a while now, a couple of games, so we're due a shafting from the officials, I see us winning 0-2

    Is Siggy back?

    Very precise Bob.

Although I think you will find the ball doesn't go out of play for a while and Dyer's substitution gets delayed, until 63 mins. ;)

Do we really have to play that useless lump up front. Prefer to see Oliviera up there for this game. Been to try and get 2 tickets today, sold out for away fans. The club have asked to see if they can get some more , so hope they get them. If anyone knows of anyone trying to get rid of 2 tickets let me know please.

I doubt there will be any changes from the Sunderland game apart from Montero for Barrow as indicated. Much as you dislike Taylor and Shelvey, I'm sure both will be starting (until Gylfi returns).

Score? God knows. 0-0 might not be such a bad shout.

1-1 Gomis header from 6 yards out and Ki to score again for us

We can get something at WBA as they are a team who blow hot and cold mostly cold and i would put Oly as the lone striker with gomis as a sweeper behind him and in front of the midfield. I would rather experiment against teams like WBA than any better teams....

    Isn't Taylor injured?
If he's fit Monk will ignore the attacking potential of Rangel again and we'll start as we did for Sunderland.
Although he has said he's sorted out the defence and he start working on our attack now - so maybe we'll see the full backs attacking after Jazz' comments last week.
TBH I thought Leon / Carroll was really missed on Saturday and if Ki plays Shelvey is on the bench.

Gorre scored another 2 for the under 21's tonight, surely he's going to be given a chance soon.

Well thats a positive result there although I can't see us scoring three goals and certainly not against WBA with Pullis out witting Monk so a narrow 1-2 win at best

    I'm sticking with three.
Garry has said (SWEP Monday) he is satisfied players now know they have to defend and, "Now I am trying to get some attacking work done as well."

I'm not sure about that regarding the defence after seeing how far Defoe was allowed to run towards the goal on Saturday.

True, our defense was pretty shell shocked with the Defoe move, but if we score 3 goals it would have been irrelevant

Do we look like we've got three goals in us ? and that's not meant to be a sarcastic comment .
