hes a cheat, therefore hes not the best ever player in the pl. a competent penalty taker (after hes dived to win it) suits him better
You've wandered onto the wrong thread. The Steven Gerrard Aporeciation is straight along and third door on the right.
Henry Giggs Bergkamp Shearer Ronnie Ronaldo only became the best player in the world when Jose developed him in 2011/12
That's hardly surprising though is it. No liverpool player comes close and you obviously arent going to vote for any United player.
not at all. i dont care who he played for, he wasnt the best because he dived to win penalties as well as encouraging others to do it and he tried to get players sent off
Nah at best that's largely untrue and at worst just clutching at straws LFC45. Cant fault his game so lets say he was a cheat. It's the same weak arguments you hear from some bitter rivals about Maradona.
So Stevie G never dived in the CL final, nor did Suarez or Sturridge last season ever ???? Liverpool despite never winning the title have more penalties than any other team. In Theory the best team really should as they attack the most, so it's somewhat strange how a team that has never won the PL is top. Just proves how bias the referees are towards the dippers
I see KS has embarrassed himself some more on this thread. It's a quality read though!! The fact Zola gets mentioned with other P.L greats despite not playing in a great side, shows exactly how good he was and what a joy to watch he was. It's easy to pick someone like RVN scoring goals for fun in such an amazing United side with Beckham whipping them in. Would he have scored so many and had such plaudits playing for lesser sides? Maybe but we'll never know. Zola was similar to say Matt Le Tissier who was also quite simply a genius with the ball and one of the most entertaining players I've ever seen but also never played for a great side. Ditto Hoddle and Gazza. Does not make then 'average' you wally!!.
Lol Jose had real playing stampy crab football by the end. Also lol @ developing a 26 year old u dummy
But it's not 'end of' though is it seeing as he's won 3 Ballon D'ors being recognised by managers and fellow professionals THROUGHOUT his career. And you've been asked by me and several others whether that also applies to the likes of Gerrard, Owen, Maradona, Henry? All of who have been guilty of "cheating" as much as Ronaldo during their career. This sort of irrational argument by you only backs up what I said earlier that I dont expect you to back an ex-united player. It's desperate and If Matth was coming out with your comments he'd be getting ripped.
