He literally knows nothing about football. Not one thing. He's like United's version of Astro. What happened to just enjoying watching a player play football? If you preferred watching Van Nistelrooy to Zola or Bergkamp I think there's something wrong upstairs.
Cantona best I've seen in the PL. Don't think many will agree but I could've watched him play football all day long, similarly with Zola.
The fact you keep calling Zola a striker somewhat negates any opinion you have. Sad really as there are some good points in there amongst the dross. If you don't love watching players like Zola and Bergkamp then you may as well stop watching football. RVN was a brilliant player but plenty of people look for more than stats and see merit in what a player brings in an enjoyment kind of way. In every generation you'll get dozens of players who can stick it in the onion bag but far less who are a genuine geniuses and ajoy to watch every week.
As Bo said, that's why Ronaldo and Messi are special, cos they have both.

If Zola was such genius then why did he never play for a top Champions League club? Nor did any try to sign him. Zola was nothing more than a an above average sized fish in a small pond his whole career. He was never a world class footballer who was the main man for his country and 2 of Europes biggest teams, like RVN was,
Zola was a flop for his country, and he was forced to leave Serie A because he couldnt get in Parma's side, as a certain Carlo Ancelotti didn't rate him. He preferred Crespo, Stoichkov and Chiesa to him.
If you genuinely believe that Zola was even in the same class as RVN then you are completely delusional. If RVN was Italian he'd of been the main man for them, the same as he was for Holland, Man Utd and Real Madrid. He wouldn't have struggled to get in Parma's team
It's actually hilarious that Chelsea fans think Zola is a genius, it's bordering on complete stupidity. He was a good player for a mid table side, nothing more. He certainly wasn't one of Europes elite players like RVN was!
And for those who say RVN was just a tap in merchant, the guy scored lots of great goals. I don't ever recall Zola or Bergkamp running from the half way line and scoring

You aren't even worth the breathe mate. That goal was lame aswell
Anything you say is a toxic airborne event of just pure bullshit. You know nothing of football, so give up now........for your own sake.
RVN was on another level to Zola and should never be behind him in any list of greats

Is it really even a fair contest between the pair, about the most prestigious award Zola ever won was Chelsea player of the yearRVN was on another level to Zola and should never be behind him in any list of greats

Who the hell is comparing Zola and RVN?
You keep bringing RVN up!
All people were saying is that Zola was a great player....show me once on here where anyone said he was better than RVN?
Only that they played 2 entirely different roles in their teams and should not be compared....you silly boy
oh and also.....individual honours?
Like they mean **** all...you obviously know less about football than I thought, see because football is a game you play in a TEAM.....

I'm saying that the list is a joke, as RVN should be in there. Zola was an average player and shouldn't be anywhere near the top 10.
We can compare team honours aswell if you like, RVN won a lot more with us and Real Madrid than Zola ever won. Zola won a few cups, that was about it![]()
Again, who is comparing RVN to Zola? You are the only one who keeps doing that......
So I am not sure why you keep bringing it up as some sort of validation of...what? That you are a berk?

Because people enjoyed watching Zola play.....and not everyone has a crush on RVN like you.The point I was making is why is Zola on that list and RVN isnt? Not sure why that is so difficult for you to comprehend![]()

Why are you constantly comparing Zola to a striker like Van Nistelrooy? Zola played off the striker or in the hole, he was not a striker. Get that through your dense skull.
I've told you before, just stop following football. You clearly know **** all about it.

What's his excuse for not getting in Parma's team, and struggling internationally then?
Surely the great genius that is Zola should have been a shoe in for Parma and the Italian national team![]()

Would this be the same Parma team that he played 102 games for in 4 seasons?
Clearly couldn't get into that team then....![]()

He got in the team for the first few seasons, and then was a bench warmer after that. This is why he was sold because he was unhappy because he wasn't playing![]()

, wow for a whole 3 months! He played regularly for Parma for 3 seasons and left halfway through his fourth. Just stop embarrassing yourself. You're seriously basing your opinion on the fact he couldn't get in Ancelotti's Parma side? You only have to look at the impact he made for Chelsea to see what a stupid mistake Ancelotti made. Besides, how many players have failed at one club and gone on to make that club rue their sales? One prime example in recent times is Robben who behind Messi/Ronaldo has been one of the best in the world since joining Bayern. Zola was a shoe in for the Parma side, until Ancelotti moved him out wide...BECAUSE HE PLAYED 4-4-2 AND ZOLA ISN'T A STRIKER.

A player as average as Zola would never have even been looked at by Real Madrid, or Bayern Munich for that matter
soooooo, exactly like your boyfriend when he moved to Real Madrid then?
