Ah Ringtons make the best tea. When my car was broken into down here a couple of months ago and I had the coppers round I made them all a cuppa and had a conversation with one of them as they were impressed and he asked if it was Ringtons!
But yeah I pretty much lived off Ringtons' ginger snaps and cuppas for one point of my student life; the ginger snaps are crisp and crunchy and go a bit gooey when dunked but still hold together.
Not had them for a while due to the diet, but I ended up getting my mates down here addicted to them and cuppas. A fair few of them now mail order them down South since the vans don't reach where they live yet.

I can vouch for the tea! I had a cup at my mate's last night and it was even nicer than Yorkshire Tea! Get's it off his gran!! Lovely cuppa mind!

Working at a call centre which offers help towards customers under government funded initiatives (bollocks I know but it's a job at the end of the day).
The biggest gripe I have is when bellends expect something like a new boiler to be installed in under two months from making their application. *Note they get these paid for from people like us who pay taxes.
When they reach a stage that is unsatisfactory for them and they wish to make a complaint you always get the usual "Well I'm going to my solicitors about this", "I'm going to the newspapers to ridicule the service you have provided and your scheme" or my personal favourite "Wait until BBC/ITV news hear about this, you're going to look good on the telly".

****ing ****ers get a proper job!

i take it you've just taken one of those calls <whistle>

Indeed I had done, feel better after that rant!!

Mate I know how you feel. I'm an estate agent in Sunderland and the amount of scroungers expecting the world to be handed to them on a plate is unreal, makes my ****ing blood boil. All it seems to be doing is making me want to move abroad, seriously can't be arsed with the state of this country these days.

just bought some headphones and the thing i hate is that plastic packaging that looks like it will pull apart easily but 10 swear filled minutes later and a pathetic attempt with scissors you turn to the bread knife and hack it to **** ARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH
i like my products well packaged but not to the point they will survive a direct nuclear missile hit

It's rediculous but it's all down to the incompetence of the government.
I would join you in moving abroad aswell - would leave tomorrow if I could.

I hate ginger. Evil stuff. And cinnamon can **** right off too, along with aniseed.

While we're on the subject of headphones, i hate "Beats" by DrDre headphones. Massively overpriced rubbish, usually found atop of the heads of blingin' footballers. The top of the range ones cost about £250 and they haven't got a patch on my £125 Audio-Technicas. Good branding from Dre though, getting people to part with £250 for them...

Not a patch on my Rolands either, the beats have a crap frequency response and the drivers are ****.
The low end on Dr Dre Beats (checked the spec on the supposed studio/professional version ones...HA!) doesn't start until 20Hz, my Rolands are around 10Hz. The human ear can only hear from 20Hz above, but the lower frequencies do affect the sound of higher frequencies so if you have trained ears you can tell the difference immediately.
Also again the high end stops at 20kHz (20000Hz), my Rolands go to 25kHZ (25000Hz), with the same thing.

They're awful, just all bass but not in a good way. Bottom end is flabby as **** and there's zero focus on the mids. Shocking really, I use the Audio Technica ATH M-50s and I love em. Bass is a little heavy but I got them to help with mixing the bottom end as my room isn't properly treated. They're really flat from about 200hz downwards.

Anyway, Wes Brown eh?... Eeeeee I dunno (on topic, on topic, on topic...)
