I'm not a long-time Arsenal supporter. I wasn't even into football while I was at school. I played at lunch when all the rest of the guys did, but that was about as far as it went. I've read a lot about the club since I started properly following them, so I feel I understand a bit about it.

But I've no idea what to make of Ian Wright.

A great goalscorer in his day, one of the names that you immediately associate with Arsenal, yet he seems to NEVER have anything good to say about the club.

He seems a die-hard Wenger hater.

Those of you with more of a history than I, what do you think of him?

he is my all time fave player, but he is saying what we all are thinking albeit in the papers, but the worst hater of all as got to be steven howard in the sun,

Ian Wright is an out and out window licker. As an Arsenal player I love him, as a human being I have nothing but pity for him. Bradley Wright-Phillips and SWP for sons... poor guy.

Wrighty talks alot of **** but on this I agree with him.

Adebayor, Toure, Clichy and now perhaps Nasri all to City one of our apparent rivals.

Wenger may well be loosing it.

in wright's interview in the sun the headline is "If Arsene had cash, he would dither.. then buy someone unknown in france or spain.

how many times have we all said that?

I remember when Wrighty signed.

He was a legend. Arsenal through and through, until Wenger finished him.

However, Tony Adams publicly stated that Arsenal would not win the league with Wright in the team. He was a quality finisher, but was very selfish.

Top goalscoorer. All passion but with great flair too.

He wasn't the greatest pundit, and like many people commenting on Arsenal, is guilty of lazy (or no) analysis with no insight.

On the BBC commenting on England he was more a fan than a expert analyser.
