I don't think Redknapp is blameless but it just seems like a club that you're better off staying away from, they make a lot of bad decisions.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if he and Milan Mandaric were to team up again.

The best you can get on Sherwood to take over at Loftus Road is 3/1 on. Crap.
Still, it does seem like something of a banker. Not much to be made on it, though. Probably not worth the risk.

I somehow doubt it. If it was going to sink through that thick skull of his, it would have done by now.
It does get a bit tedious when it descends to the school playground level, but HIAG is like red rag to a bull to Peskie - he just can't help charging straight in there.

Obviously I do not personally know Ferdinand but after he agreed to join us back in 1997 or 98 shearer was badly injured so newcastle asked him to change his mind and he said no as he had given his word. I always liked him for that....
....until he was a pundit for one of our europa league games and he slagged off spurs fans.

He claimed that last season, when Harry Kane played, after 10 mins of matches spurs fans would chant about soldado to show they wanted him on the pitch instead but now we called him (kane) one of our own so it showed how fickle we were.

We always chant for soldado as a show of affection ... at no point was Harry Kane given stick...it was a ****ty lie and dig from a bitter twat who hadn't got over losing his job.

Since then I have nothing good to say about ferdinand and two faced seems pretty accurate to me.

Good to see a genuine nice guy like Luke Chadwick enjoying his return to Old Trafford.

Well knowing Harry's record it's hardly likely to go out on a high is it? West Ham, Saints, Portsmouth, QPR are hardly the bright lights of English football are they?

I often think it would be nice if more appreciation was shown for his efforts for our club. It was his opportunity to have a chance to show he could manage a big club. In my view, he can look back on his time with us as a good spell in his managerial career.

Some of the comments on here since he left, have been cheap and disrespectful, but the reality remains that we are nowhere near now where we were when Harry was in charge. Pochettino may well be flavour of the month at the moment because of taking is to Wembley, but he is way out of his depth in comparison to Harry.

I always thought 'Arry did an excellent job at Spurs.

He certainly had your team holding its own at a level above where you are now for a period, getting results which matched the title contenders for a 4-5 month period whilst playing exhilarating football at times.

All of us enjoyed the football he had us playing. His personality split opinions, but I was very sad when he went - especially the manner of it. Deserved better.

It's great that he cares so much about his hometown club too. It can't be easy going from a promising youngster at a huge club and playing in Champions League games to a bit of a journeyman Football League player but I think he's handled his career very well. Not that a career in the Football League player is something to be sniffed at, of course, but I think there are plenty that have struggled with their careers not turning out as planned.

Didn't watch any of the games tonight but it's funny how it works out sometimes as Preston have seemingly had less trouble seeing off Sheffield United than the 4/5 Premier League sides that have come up against them. Anyway it's Heskey up against his old club tomorrow, another Football League player back at a former club.

It says just how little faith Van Galling has in his squad that he put out a team with a combined 347 international caps to see off Cambridge United.

...and that's not including the subs!

I didn't mention Spurs in my post though. We were the best club he managed and like many other coaches he found that we were the kiss of death for them as most have faded into obscurity.

The great and the good of past English football are polarized about the NLD result. Ray Parlour says Arsenal and somebody else thinks it will be a demolition job even without Sanchez. Ray Wilkins thinks Spurs will use home advantage and win. Whilst I respected Wilkins' ability as a footballer there's precious little else. As we approach the more pessimistic I'm getting about a win, I'll settle for a draw.
