I have a good feeling about this game, whichis something i don't usually get for NLD,i think we will win it
I didn't see highlights of the other games at the weekend, but was the first ManU goal against Leicester offside?
I was speaking to a Utd supporter who voiced his concern that the goals dried up after three, I think he's right to be concerned.
Why would he worry about only winning by 3? There is little point in expending energy to drub a team 7-0 in the cup. In fact, i read once that Mourinho used to get angry if his team went 3-0 up. I don't know how true that is.
It wasn't cup. He said having scored three then they should have scored more instead of allowing Leicester to get one back so he's concerned that the goals might dry up a bit.
Sorry, thought we were on about last night. Still, its the same theory. Likelihood of goal difference making a difference at the end of the season is slim. Likelihood of player tiredness/injuries making a difference is higher
Why should United be worried about tiredness this season? They only have PL and FA C to worry about........!
He probably gets narky because it's hard to make up stories of the officials being against him when they're being given goals that didn't cross the line or came from penalties won by blatant cheating...
West Ham have been fined £71,000 for using a player that they shouldn't have used against Bristol City in the FA Cup. That player was Diafra Sakho, the scorer of the game's only goal. They also got £90,000 for progressing through into the next round, not including any money that they may make from the game itself. Well done, FIFA.
Not quite rivals but I caught the last 20 odd minutes of the Dortmund match against Augsburg and I wish I hadn't! Their play is slow slow slow even when they're losing and they're down to hitting long balls now. Hardly a player in their lineup seems to want to take an opponent on, and nobody seems to move the ball quickly or look for an outside ball - like Lamela did the other day they nearly always look to play infield. A remarkable decline, notwithstanding their Bayern Munich related losses.
Yes he did. A very talented defender who was horrendously crocked in a reserve game at Norwich. I was there that evening and the challenge was the worst I have ever seen. The initial diagnosis was that he would never play agin and would walk with a permanent limp. Credit to him for coming back from that.
