I'm not sure that selling Olsson and utilising Garrido will weaken the defence, it may actually strengthen it as Garrido will spend less time out of position... who knows we may also be in the market for a replacement too...

Reactions: Canary Rob
Anyone fear we might be turning Garrido into the next David Fox? It sounds like he gets better and better the longer he's out of the side.

BBC reckon Villa's pursuit of Rickie Lambert has ended, with Villa looking to spend around £5m on a striker. Hooper?

Burnley supposedly made a late bid for Russell Martin. Unsurprisingly not happening.

Not going to copy it all here, but Lafferty has just tweeted some goodbye stuff, either generic PR stuff or he's enjoyed his time here even if it hasn't worked out on the pitch. All positive.

"So it's four months loan for me. Excited about the chance to play in Turkey for rizespor. Will miss the lads and staff at Norwich tho"
"Amazing bunch of people. But has i said its four months to play some football. Best of luck to Norwich for the rest of the season."
"I have no doubts whatsoever that we will climb the table and push for automatic promotion places. [HASHTAG]#ncfc[/HASHTAG]"

He's definitely a Wes upgrade, potentially a great signing. Always rated him and I'm well chuffed with this, didn't see it coming at all.

Was that Tony Andreu story real? I've been been off work and on SSN pretty much all day but haven't seen it mentioned on there

For me, a shame about Lafferty. I know others disagree. I really do think he's an very good (albeit unusual) player. But I accept he just doesn't suit our likely system and I have to wonder what system he does suit... Sounds like this is best for all parties and those are some nice quotes from him - there may be a route back in for him next season I suppose.

I get the Andreu move, but if I'm honest I'm not expecting big things. I'm far more excited about Dorrans particularly at Championship level.

Sounds like the Noone deal is now dead. I hope we do find a left-sided winger because if Olsson goes we only have Dorrans who can play there - I can't stand Hoolahan out wide.
