I am the first to question the quality of our signings, I am certainly not in the Cellino camp but keeping Austin and turning down a quick £500k is right in my opinion.
If this offer had come in on 1st January he would have been sold, we don't want to unsettle the squad and if it were a case of selling him and bringing in a top drawer player I would have been all for it but with an embargo in place we are limited.
I'll rephrase it for you. We've could have made a £200k profit from the £300k we payed but we've just thrown £500k that we could have got. Celino has no intention of keeping Austin, Byram, Mowatt, etc, etc. We'll get rid of these players and bring in 2nd rate ****.
