Dorrans could potentially be a superb piece of business, and show real intent to get the job done this season. On his day he can rip Championship defences new ones, I've always of him as a slightly better, younger version of Wes, and have never understood why he doesn't play more regularly. Seems to have maybe lost his way a bit, constant changing of managers probably hasn't helped and perhaps a new challenge and our gaffer can bring the best out of him. Ooh, I'm excited now - bloody love transfer deadline day!
Don't know this source, but they seem mighty convinced Olsson is off? https://www.eyefootball.com/news/22208/Martin-Olsson--Swansea-City.html
Stewart Lewis @StewartLewis2 2m2 minutes ago Sky now reporting #ncfc have bid £4m for Dorrans. No idea if true, but may signal bigger ambitions than we suspected
£4m seems quite a lot but frankly if we're swapping Olsson for Dorrans I think we're coming out very well. Dorrans is basically a six months late replacement for Pilkington - properly two-footed. Of course some may not like him because he's Scottish, which obviously means he is incapable of playing football
If true this will be an excellent signing - always seemed to play well against us and capable of adding a few goals as well. Hope we get him.

Dorrans beginning to sound like a p/x deal involving Olsson ? http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/transfer-deadline-day-live-latest-5088766
Seems strange that we would consider offloading Olsson when Whittaker has not been playing well and Garrido has barely set foot on the pitch this season. Unless perhaps Toffolo is going to feature?
Apparently Grabban could be off to West Brom in a part exchange deal?!? If we buy Dorrans only to get rid of Redmond or Wes that would be totally pointless, in my opinion.
Miquel could be our back up left back now... Not sure how comfortable he is there. Not keen on losing grabban, think he's a good player. Am keen on dorrans, bold statement from the board if he comes.
I wouldn't mind losing either/both Grabban/Lafferty, as despite Grabban's early goal scoring success, I don't think he has really delivered on his early promise.
To be fair I don't think Lafferty not Grabban have been given a fair crack of the whip, played out of favoured position etc. You can't solely blame a forwards lack of goals of the rest of the team aren't helping create them. Before coming here they were both scoring so conclusion I can come to is we're not using them effectively or the midfield aren't working well enough to support them. I'd be sad to see them go as I feel they could both score for fun at this level IF they were more free to play because we had a stable midfield and defence rather than having to track back because our defence us so full of holes. Just my gut feeling on the situation. Lack of bringing a decent Wes replacement is the biggest mistake Adams made last summer
Fair point Rich, but I think Grabban has been disappointing even when he has had fairly clear scoring opportunities.
i doubt toffolo will feature much imo as neil said he played SW at cm as the only guys he had fit were young and not ready
