Everton are coming in for Lennon in a player switch according to ESPN. QPR are also trying to sign him as well for cash. ESPN says that they want cash and will only do a loan to us if they can not wok out a cash deal or a good enough player switch I suppose.

I don't think there's time for a permanent deal to be struck for Lennon now, knowing how Levy operates.

I'm more interested in the apparent U-turn Brenda has made in Bin-Dipper Land over Lambert!

SSN reporting that Leicester are in for Lennon now, if I was Lennon I would pick them over us. We are in free fall without a parachute, the only hope is that Phelan comes in and saves us. We've been using the "We've had so many injuries" excuse for to long now, it's time to stop making excuses and win ugly again, which is what we did last season. We beat the likes of West Ham, Norwich, Sunderland, Fulham, West Brom at home, who were at the time established Premier League teams, we need to get back to doing the basics right and get some points on the ****ing board soon or we will finish bottom.

MK Dons midfielder Dele Alli will join Tottenham today for £5million. (Source John Cross) #THFC

£5million is a lot of money for a league 1 player, but this kid really is a talent. He's scores 1 in every 3 games, which isn't a bad record for a central midfielder, the next Lampard maybe? If only we were in a better position financially and in the table, he might of been a good signing for us. But in our predicament, we need experience, not youth.

This has nothing to do with the transfer thread and everything to do with TheCausal's Jim White day thread. The sentiments still apply though.

100% agree. People keep looking at the fixture list and saying "oh we'll be alright, we've got X, Y and Z coming up" but we've already failed to even ****ing score against WBA, Lester and a massively out of form Newcastle at home. Just who else do people think we will beat? Unfortunately every single team at the moment - bar possibly Villa - look much better equipped than us.

He's not what we need anyway, we've got good wide players in Elmo, Brady and (potentially) Ince. We should be chasing a centre mid who will break the lines rather than pass sideways.

As already stated, it's not the players it's the ****ing instructions.

Do you really think it a coincidence that 5 different players seem to have changed their game to a dour, cautious, sitting back, static style of play since Bruce managed them? Or do you think he tells them to do that?

We could sign Yaya Toure and he'd still sit on the bloody halfway line dead centre completely out of the action.
