TLF - I agree that we have a pretty weak midfield out on the pitch today. Forgetting Cork, we are missing, Leon, Routledge, Montero, Siggy and Ki
Taff you are right, but this is now a squad game and it appears we dont have one. Lets hope Ki comes back fit and Cork gets up to speed soon otherwise we are in the ****.

Gomis has got to make a little bit of and effort to get onside and hold the ball up. If it is not to much trouble for him, which it appears it is.

Totally being dominated as expected but we have been rock solid at the back. Ash was lucky not to be sent off for pushing a saints player to the floor, he needs to watch his aggression as another ref could easily have dismissed him. taylor also needs to calm down. Gomis has been too far forward and been caught off side to many times but at least he is trying. It not pretty to watch if your a swans fan but i never expected anything else from a good saints team...So far so good but i cant see us keeping a clean sheet with the pressure on us and its only a matter of time i think before they score....We need lady luck with us and hope for a breakaway goal.....

Do you honestly believe that, **** mine Fonte and yashida could sit down read a book and have a cup of tea when they are on the ball.

I agree with your comment that it is a squad game, but (including Cork) we have 6 midfielders unavailable today, most of whom arguably would be first choice (eg Britton, Ki, Siggy, Montero & Routs)<cheers>

That is why I think we are doing well so far.

Look at it this way we would have satrted ki and siggy probably today in the middle. They are missing Schiederlin and Wanyama from the middle aswell not forgeting Cork.

So they are missing 2 first choices (Cork wasn't a first choice, hence his transfer to us) and we are missing (arguably) 5 <cheers>
What I a saying is in the middle 3 we are missing 2 players who would have started, as are they and their cover in the centre is running ours ragged. How often has Britton started this year 7 appearances Cork has made 12.
