We are pretty ****ing useless and he's not showing any sign of turning it round, even against one of the most hopeless teams ever to come to the KC stadium today. Do or die whilst we still have winnable games to win.

nothing but a big fat YES

take the risk, its getting beyond a joke now

Up until now i've been firmly in the no camp, but today's performance was a real watershed, as soon as their 1st went in that was it for us, i didn't feel confident that we'd get back into it and the performance was so similar to so many other recent city performances over the past few months

IF we'd have got rid when I said, the new manager'd have a transfer window to try and correct things.....
but NO.
ppft!

If there was a "don't know" box I would tick it. I really can't decide. On one hand bringing someone else is sometimes kick starts an improvement. On the other hand is it too late.

First post on this forum, having just returned from the KC my thoughts are Steve Bruce's time at the club should be coming to an end. I personally feel he should of been sacked earlier and we should have moved heaven and Earth for Pulis. He's the man that would of got us organised, fired up and have us playing to at least the sum of our parts. We need to move quick as the next 2 home games are must wins. We still have a better squad I feel than Burnley, QPR and Leicester and should move quick before its too late. Who to bring in Im not sure, this is perhaps the stumbling block, if nothing changes then I feel Steve Bruces and our history will repeat themselves!!

Way too late now. A new manager would have needed the January window and there's no-one out there now.

People calling for his head should offer up a suggestion as to who would replace him, I'd be interested to hear some of the names.

When Pulis was available, we had a decision to make. We stuck with Bruce. A new man would not help now.

That's the same position i am in. There is no-one who is going to come in and turn this squad upside down and change things. This is Bruce's squad and he should in theory know how to get the best out of them.

However if we don't do something i think we will go down. However what can we do?

I like Bruce and i don't think there is anyone better we could get in so i would stick for now. However when does it become to late..... I am as confused as many of you probably are!

Yeah, it's time.

We have been **** for over a year. Bruce persists with Huddlestone and Livermore for no good reason, he plays people in weird and ineffective positions. When we have looked good, he has ignored the reasons for good performances and reverted back to weird/ineffective selections and formations.

I'm not optimistic about someone coming in and sorting it out - but it's time for Bruce to go. We look awful and there is seemingly no prospect of Bruce doing anything about that, unless Phelan drastically changes things (but then what is the point of Bruce?).

I think the fact that we have the quality but they aren't performing pretty much sums it up for me. I really like Bruce, he's so down to Earth and he's a good man manager, but tactically he's becoming unstuck far too often. The memories he brought us are great, but those are behind us and we need to be looking forward. Our record this season is abysmal and two goals in five games isn't good enough, not at this level. Allam won't wait, hes said all along that he wants the club to be self sustaining and we can only do that by staying up. I don't think we need a Bruce out campaign, if Allam is serious about making this club work he will act accordingly.

It's not just because of today's result, but the others also And the fact we are two days from the end of the transfer window and without anybody in is a real worry for me.

As I said, I really like the guy but it's a results business and our results simply haven't been good enough for a club with our ambitions and quality players.

I look at this season and see similarities to the year we went down, both years we don't know our best team. We don't have striker who score, we don't create chances and worst of all we play players out of position. How the heck is Meyler a right winger, i feel for him as he played poorly but he isn't a winger and we shouldn't play him there.

I honestly believe that Phelan is going to make a huge difference when he comes in. That was a master stroke by Bruce and Brucey knows that he can help save him. I also think Phelan can help persuade Lennon and N'Doye to join. He will bring the strength we need.

I am positive we'll stay up.
