Mikes not happy

I don't know how he could actually be Baffled (totally bewildered or perplexed) as its something every single manager complains about every single window that media speculation about transfer targets hurts business that clubs are trying to get done before other clubs are alerted to the possibility of signing those targets.

Perhaps Mike White should stop trying to use big words and go back to watching WWE.

oh so this guy has gone to wba

woo hoo..

this is why we don't make daft threads like this

you can't EXACTLY blame this thread or RB for media reports.
his agent probably asked him ''do you want to go to Englands second City, or do you want to go to Hull?" a quick look on google or wikipedia? and he chose Birmingham.
plus they were probably prepared to pay more dosh than us.

oh well, at least were not Lesster.

i never blamed this thread

i blamed this thread for giving up hopes..

we have to face facts.
Hull is an undesireable place to live
successive governments under-investment in Hull hasn't helped things.

just what we gotta accept..

people with millions, don't want to move to this area

yea it might have some decent towns outside hull.. but nothing what they want

where's the spas, where's the luxury clubs.. hull is all working class.. there is not one establishment suited to the rich..

I don't like saying things like this until the story's confirmed, but here goes. If he dragged his heels for three days over signing for us, but signs for WBA in a matter of hours, did he really want to come to us in the first place? Have we been used by his agent to engineer the move he really wants?

Your spot on. When a player wants to sign for you, you can get things done fairly quickly. Deadline day proves this, as players become available last minute they are rushed over for a medical and to agree personal terms, and boom, signed.

If Humberside tweeted about N'Doye a few days ago saying a fee has been agreed, then if the guy wanted to sign for us he would have rushed over, had his medical, and signed the contract, then there's just the case of gaining a work permit. But the players contract is always on condition of gaining a work permit anyway.

So yeah, he's ponced around for a few days hoping other clubs come in for him and it sounds like they have.

Saying that, you cant blame him for wanting the best possible deal for himself. If another club has offered more money or a longer deal etc, anyone of us would do the same thing.

I cant say im actually too bothered if we miss out on him. Bruce has been saying all January that we need to spend carefully and bring in players who will definitely improve us, well who's saying this guy will? He could easily end up being another Nick Proschwitz, good in their current league but piss poor over here.

wasnt he away on international cup duty ? as far as a striker goes , im not that concerned we dont get him , as we need a player who can hit the ground running and a loanee currently or recently in the prem would be a better fit when considering our Strike options - we have strikers but not just yet .

We've been done before like this, player's using city to get a better deal elsewhere, and no doubt it will happen again. for SB to point the finger of blame at RH he must have some proof otherwise he's going to look silly, but to be honest it could have come from anywhere, agent's, Nat press, leak from the club, very hard to keep it under wraps. Time to hit the road to ull, 3-1 to city,UTT.

I'm struggling to find anything other than the Sky Sports link saying we've agreed a £3 million fee. Where is all this rumours coming from?

There's a lot of pant pissing on here. There's still nothing I can find linking him anywhere other than here? If he has more than us as an option, that's fine too - you wouldn't accept the first job offer if you had further offers in the bag. He's ok to look at all offers- it's due diligence on his behalf.

Pulis has probably said if anything goes out in the media he'll pull the plug on the deal. Keeping it under the radar, you'll soon know if he's gazumped us when they get a pic of him going for a medical wich I would think will be in the next day I'd so
