Loads of sensible posts on this thread fella. Try giving it a read. Everyone knows he's intelligent, What with him keeping you stagnant yet safe in the most watched league in the world while he uses you to advertise and expand a separate company and milking your profits for a debt which in realty has been paid off many times by using you as an advertising board. The intelligent part is he can keep your debt in place while your club fill his pockets via his Sports direct company.Newcastle used to be a football club, now it's a marketing tool for a company who gives you nothing back at all. Enjoy your mockery of a football club. Oh he's intelligent, unfortunately for you.
Again, there's no evidence to suggest that's gonna happen either. Rangers would have to WIN the Champions League to turnover a bigger revenue than Newcastle, I think that's just wishful thinking by the NUFC faithful. Until he gets a silly offer for Newcastle, he won't sell up. Why sell a cash cow? Sports Direct advertising will get more global recognition by the way from the EPL than it ever would from Rangers advertising it in the Champions League.
As a global brand isnt rangers bigger? He was prepared to take a £55m loss to wash his hands not so long ago and there was no interest He just pumped £10m into rangers today
Everything Ashley does is instantly seized upon as him 'preparing to sell the club'. Its like watching a bunch of 5 year olds playing Cluedo
The amount of owners wanting to buy into funeral marches, walk outs, demonstrations, boycoutts, riots etc must be limited.
That £10m is a strangle hold on Rangers, making sure nobody else wants to buy the club, he's making it less and less attractive by the day for potential suitors, then he'll set his lawyers on the SPL and no doubt they'll come out well on top. He was in a position when NUFC got relegated where he'd lost a shed load of money through the recession, I think he was just prepared to cut his losses. Since then he's put them in a very stable position, self sufficient and making cash like never before, not to mention the new TV deals. He's probably pissing himself that nobody took him up on his offer. Rangers are nowhere near in terms of branding, if you were a top sponsor would you want your brand associated with such a farce? They're an important club, with huge history and great support but their name is **** right now.
One of my bosses floats companies for a living, buys and sells them at the right times etc. He put what Mike Ashley is doing into words for me yesterday, 90% of it went over my head but it sounded so obvious the way he worded it. Fat ****er.
And designing the Pardew out logo in the style of Sports Direct to give the company even more coverage.
Ashley must have already known Pardew was going as the fans were paying out for them ......... probably owns the print shop
Pardew probably paid for them, he'd ran out of excuses so started getting the next ones lined up. "My players would have won if them daaarft signs weren't being thrown around by the fans".

It was such an anti climax, for the Mags, when he walked out. Now the focus of their bile has gone they're left with one of their own true Geordies, paradoxically one of whom was the last to take them down.
Most importantly, don't forget to smile whilst playing the keyboard. please log in to view this image
Probably the amount it would cost to get Carver & Stone off the books .......... he'll probably have them on traffic cone duty for a while.
