That bloke doesn`t give a toss about anybody.

He`s virtually destroyed any hopes or ambitions the mags may have had. Lord knows what he`s capable of when he gets his investment back.

Disgusting maybe, I think he's just playing the system. As for the small companies, his suppliers are probably, mostly, large manufacturers who extort Indian and Bangladeshi teenagers for pittance, so I'd have no sympathy with them ****s.

His staff at USC have been royally ****ed, by the people running USC. He's ruthless, everything about him is ruthless. He'd assassinate his own mother if he found out she'd bought a pair of insoles from JD Sports.

USC stores occupy some of the priciest real-estate in the high streets of the UK, they were bound to fail selling the crap that they stock on their shelves, even more so when Ashley started stacking cheaper **** on their shelves after his takeover. The likes of BooHoo, PLT and ASOS can absolutely flatten every mid-range clothing chain with one good year of trading.

Ashley will move any mid-range he buys into bargain range stores, so that he's not getting involved in that market.

Yeah **** them but these are British based warehouses, storage facilities employing English 'pickers' as they call them. They'll receive shipments from these dodgy manufactures Ashley has contracted and distribute it to stores. The dodgy manufacturers will continue to supply and Ashley will still make money while these kids will still work for rice while he dumps British USC workers and the workers of their warehouses on the dole and closes small business. Disgusting, hope the evil **** meets an agonising death.

It would be great to be a fly on the wall in that scenario.

We've been staying up for years based purely on individual players and awful managerial input, we'll do it again this year. IF, as seems likely, this paves the way for De Boer in the summer, it's absolutely fantastic for us, De Boer will end up at a top, top club. Happy for Carver to take the reigns till the end of the season, he's a decent enough bloke aside from a couple of blips and it's clearly an honour for him. I'm happy (except for the premature name change on my part mind, 20 odd days till I can change it again <laugh> )

Reading the thread, Typical Terry is the voice of reason. Although some of you would clearly like to think Ashley is trying to relegate us out of pure spite to the fans, he has always played it extremely safe when it comes to relegation. He's always happy to sell on for big money, if safety is already assured. The one year it wasn't, he shipped 20 million quid or something like that on 4 or 5 players to push us over the line (evidence that there was no particular faith in Pardew, Ashley knows as well as anyone else that it's our players that have kept us where we are).

As for Sissoko, he's a class act on his day, one of those who has quite clearly been "Pardewed". At say 10 million he could be a bargain for someone who realises his potential and fancies themselves to get him back somewhere near his best.

And on Perez, aye Terry, the lad has got everything. Future star. I think we are all just crossing our fingers that he stays under the radar for as long as possible, real class act.

Sissoko's stock will never be higher than it is now ....... Ashley knows this is pay-day before he does a 'Ben Arfa'.

I honestly can't believe a decent club hasn't tried to prize him from Ashley's grasp.
I don't think he'd hang on too tightly if the offer was right.

Who clearly said that ....... no one is the answer unless I've missed summat.

Making things up destroy your argument, not support it.

BTW, I think McClaren will be your next manager, I've put money on it.

Didn't he sell Given on deadline day of the winter window in the season you were relegated and made do with Harper for the rest of the season?

I think Ashley is hoping Derby fail to gain promotion.... Or.... If they do, hope McClaren doesn't get sufficient backing from the Derby board before trying to 'tempt' him with a substantial transfer kitty in the summer.
