Can't argue with that Dave. Some of those arguments run for several pages - I wouldn't have the energy levels!
Morning all. A heavy overnight frost and it is pretty cold outside. The sun is shining and it should move the mist that is hiding the trees across the far side of the field. I am still in a bit of a state of disbelief about yesterday afternoon. It is confirmed that we have never scored 7 goals in a single half before, so whatever happens in the future Slav will appear in the record books, or until we score eight of course.
Morning all. Done my hour's RSPB survey this morning. Most of the usual suspects put in an appearance but he last couple of years greenfinches seem to have disappeared altogether.
Have you lost any robins? I always thought that they were solitary birds, but have recently spotted five foraging in our garden together...
Down at my mum's ... still shocked after writing off her car... but just a couple of bruises and a sore back after ending up nose down in a dyke... they had to get her out with ladders... two ambulances a fire engine and several police cars involved... so lucky for a 93 year old. we have just done a test drvie in the hire car.... phew!
Sorry to hear about the accident, but happy that she is unhurt - and good on her for getting back behind the wheel. But you have to wonder if she should rethink the 'driving thing'...
yes at 93... trouble is she is very isolated where she lives.... moving up to live with us in around a month.... we wont letting her drive in Leeds.........
Blimey, Yorkie, I thought for a moment you meant you'd written it off. Glad she's OK. My dad was finally persuaded to give up when the police pulled him up after driving the wrong way round a Sheffield roundabout. Hard to get him to accept the the occasional taxi cost less than running a car.
We have so far done the Balwhinnie and Glengoyne and the Ben Riach awaits...oh and the chieftain of the pudding race went down well, as did the neeps, tatties and whisky sauce. Here's to you, Mrs H....
