Since beating Chelsea colin we've STRUGGLED to beat relegation strugglers, lost to Palace and a penalty win against Sheff Utd. A lot of possession not converted to goals. 2-1 v Sunderland is rubbish. Two attempts to get past Burnley conceding two at home again is rubbish. Losing to Palace? Also rubbish. 1-0 v Sheff Utd, rubbish and losing to Leicester the bottom club, complete rubbish. We conceded three against Chelsea and all the time I've been saying that we are not playing well and getting the results that we should have been getting yet most of you were happy with all this.
Well I wasn't as you may recall. Liverpool have lost one in ten or something which I call strong and Arsenal's last two wins have been impressive, five for and none against and I think they will strengthen. colin, I'm sorry if you think my description of our team is total rubbish but that's the way I see it. We SHOULD NOT be struggling against the bottom clubs.
What frustrates me the most is how some of you boys on here are satisfied with the manner of our pathetic wins.
Liverpool are strong cos they have only lost 1 in 10 yet before today we had lost 1 game in 11...so therefore by your logic we were a strong team this morning.
I ain't trying to dig but i honestly you are over reacting when you call us rubbish.
We need a back four that keep clean sheets and at least 1 more striker as we aint consistent enough at either end of the pitch.
I also think we have been lucky at times but we have also been unlucky.
We should have had a late penalty v United, the offside goal last week v sunderland, we should have had a penalty v palace, so the good luck v bad luck is pretty even.
In November we won 5 and lost 1 match.
In December we won 4 drew 2 and lost 2 (one was an away meaningless europa game)
In January we have so far won 4 drawn 1 lost 2
we played 21 - won 13 drawn 3 lost 5
in the same time liverpol have played 20 - Won 8 drawn 7 lost 5
and Arsenal have played 17 - won 11 drawn 2 lost 4
It doesn't stack up that we are rubbish and they are strong
