Not a bad position to be in. I've never been sure about offering players with cash especially if the proposed team has never had eyes on the players being offered. It seems a lightweight sort of arrangement to me. I certainly wouldn't want Spurs to accept a player plus cash deal especially if we'd never wanted said player. A slot has to be found for somebody not in the coach's plans so I hope we never do it.
And the Goons only 2 points ahead and Utd only 3. Their wealth hasn't had the full effect so far this season (I am aware they will both now disappear into the distance).
