I think that if we were going to sack Steve Bruce (which i am not advocating) then it should have been done 3-4 weeks ago. Now we have to run with what we have got. Yes we have been crippled by injuries so far this season and only on a few occasions been able to put out our strongest first eleven, but i still believe that the players that have played have under performed. I have criticised some of Bruce's team selections, tactics etc this season, but feel that his hand has been forced on a number of occasions due to the injury situation and that with a fully fit squad half of the players currently in the team would be on the subs bench at best. I honestly don't think Bruce can take a lot of the blame for this. The sooner we appoint an Assistant Manager the better, fresh ideas and enthusiasm around the place.
We need to believe that if we can get some of the injured players back soon that we can turn this around. It's not like we are cut adrift at the bottom, 1 point from safety that's all we are.
But if it's relegation it's relegation, we move on and go again. Because which ever division we are in it's still our football club.
For me, i think that we can still get out of this and be playing Premier League football again next season.

i hope injuries aren't to blame for us getting relegated, because we've been **** all ****ing season

Clearly injuries have played a big part in our form this season so far. For example a team i would like to see us play is,

Mags

Elmo Chessie Daws Robbo

Snoders Livers Diame Ince

Jela Hernandez

This is just an example. How many times due to injuries do you think we would have been able to field this team. My guess not many, if any.

I hope this isn't an omen!

Tiger Woods loses tooth watching Lindsey Vonn compete in Italy
Tiger Woods lost a tooth after being hit in the face by a camera while watching girlfriend Lindsey Vonn secure her 63rd World Cup Alpine ski win.

The former world number one golfer decided to surprise Vonn, who was competing in Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.

"During a crush of photographers at the awards' podium, a media member with a shoulder-mounted video camera pushed and surged towards the stage, turned and hit Tiger Woods in the mouth," his agent Mark Steinberg said. "Woods's tooth was knocked out by the incident."

Bit of a chip shot if you ask me. Caught in the trap. Don't putt yourself into a hole Tiger. Not that rough, she'll stroke it better.

We've been **** all season? This is news to me, before the Southampton game Nov 1st we were 9th in the league (should've been higher).

Name 3 worse teams than us at the moment? Actually we're 13th in the form table having won 2 of our last 5 games...

Villa haven't scored for 5 games
Sunderland got 1 point from last 5 games
QPR haven't won a point away all season
even Newcastle & Everton are below us in the current form table

You can be choosey with stats all you like, still the only one that matters States that there's only two worse teams than us. One of whom beat us on our own patch after not winning in 13 games.

And those two teams can at least look like they might be able to score a goal.

As much as I agree with you, you could easily use the same logic to say we're better than Sunderland and Everton.

Everton do look really ****e. I remember last season telling my Toffees supporting mate that I know someone who is a Wigan season ticket holder who refused to go under Martinez cos the football was terrible, defensive and dominated by sideways passing and he punched the air when he left. The Everton fan laughed in my face, although I suspect now he concedes the Wigan fan had a point.

6 points separate the bottom 9 teams. If we exclude Everton then there are 8 teams struggling at the moment who are pretty much on the same level.

On last night's showing Everton are certainly in the mix, also around at this time of the season, there's always a side that drop's like a stone, a long way to go,many twist's and turn's, hang on to your hat's.

Pulis is the same, that match last night was diabolical, it's not football its anti-football

I think we'll go down. Obviously, I'll be gutted, but it isn't the end of the world. I don't think the players have it in them. We're frustratingly inconsistent at this level. We'll have the odd game where we play the opposition off the park like Everton, but I feel the players don't give 100% every game. The players' heads go down if we concede, and I rarely see any fight by them to get back into the game. I'll still support Hull City wholeheartedly regardless of what league we're in, but I don't think we have enough determination to stay up this season.
