I think the Op is over sentimental. We played really well to a man. We created the better chances in the first half and it was only when Vargas went one on one that we realised that it wasn't our day. With a bit of luck we could have won this game from half time, but sadly it didn't happen. This isn't the game that will make or break our season.

I think that a lot of our posters are getting over emotional. A draw would've been a fair result for this game. We didn't get it, so we move onto the next one. My marks for what its worth...I think people are forgetting we played Man U and not Palace..

Green 8
Isla 8
Hill 6
Dunne 8
Onouha 8
Barton 8
Henry 8
Vargas 8
Fer 7
Zamora 6
Austin 5

Caulker 6
Kranjcar 5
Taarabt 8

We have played much worse at home and won this season.
I think we were far poorer in the draw with Swansea in which they could of won easily.

Don't worry Harry will spin it for you <laugh>

Why are you on here?

If I was a follower of Chelsea ( even though I don't go to games ) I don't think It would even cross my mind to look at a lesser rivals board than my own after such an accomplished and emphatic win. To do so is very strange and would be a remonstrative action of an utter weirdo!

Keep complimenting us on other Boards mate. Saves me having to do it

I find it a bit odd that a QPR fan who doesn't go to games, is entertaining a Chelsea wum that doesn't go to any games on this board.
Were was J Toilet today

He would of played but 'Arry asked to fetch the ball from his last shot on goal. He was last seen in Ruislip.

Was Hill really one of our poorest players today? I thought he did well. Although the goals began on his side I thought he didn't get enough support in those instances.

I think this is one of those examples where two people can watch the same game and see it totally differently mate. It's all opinions and you may well be right.
For me, after half time, we were never in it as Utd changed their system and totally dominated us. Falcao had the clearest chance of the first half and should have scored. Our two chances were long range efforts from Charlie, well saved by a World class keeper.
IMO on another day, we could have lost that by 4 or 5. Time after time we just hoofed the ball back to Utd. The only time we kept the ball better was after Taarabt and Kranjcar came on. Isla was criminally under used down the right as he seemed to be the only player capable of getting in behind them and their left was obviously their most vulnerable point. Vargas looks totally shot of all confidence and I'm not surprised, as he's being played out of position all the time.

We are 2nd from bottom, have lost all 10 away games and Redknapp continues to play good players like Vargas out of position.
He is a busted flush and will take us down imo.

However, I could well be wrong and I really hope he proves me wrong so that I can enjoy all that humble pie come May!

Lot of column inches on us in the Sunday Times today. Nothing new, but some interesting facts. Since promotion in 2011 we have signed 61 players, 21 of them in their thirties (and of course some, like Barton, have entered their 30's since we signed them) Redknapp's line is that he is getting the most out of the players who are giving their all. And that it's very tight at the bottom.

The Sunday Times reporter thought we did well yesterday, was quite flattering. I thought the effort was exemplary, but after Van Gaal changed things at half time, it was only a matter of time.

If Redknapp really feels he is doing a good job and the team is doing well, when we have 2 points from the last 15, no away points all season, sit second bottom and have let in more goals than any other team, then I really don't know what to think. Pity may be the appropriate feeling.

As I said elsewhere I think LVG changed the game completely with bringing Fellaini on. United were far more combative and we seemed to lose heart once that first goal went in. Harry dithered another 12-13 minutes before bringing Adel on and another ten minutes before Nico came on.

He should've made the changes as soon as we went behind as the game was going away from us fast. Nico was the wrong choice far too late, Adel and Zarate on the hour would have been better balanced and these critical errors show just how devoid of any semblance of tactical nous Harry is. LVG totally outwitted him...
