You're right Vic is much improved. To be fair the whole squad are, including Cork who has scored 2 or 3 goals for us as well as being his usual midfield engine. Fingers are crossed that he can fill in for the big guy and do a job for the team.
We started leaking goals and losing games at that point though...so I'd question that (though Lovren was out then too).
...and don't forget Boruc was out at the same time. I think the stat from that period is something like: Gazza played 7 games, had 27 shots against him on target and conceded 24....
