Rumour has it that Vlad scored from a corner. I don't believe that!

A corner that he won with a shot, apparently.

I still don't like the fact that we leaked two to a bottom club.

No, an even less likely scorer: Soldado.

Chadli is coming on mainly to help Pleat.

We need a good alternative to Eriksen at CAM if we aren't going to burn him out, and I keep thinking Soldado is the best option.

I'm breaking my own philosophy here, it was a massive deflection so we've really only leaked one STRICTLY speaking.

    i agree.
Lamela as a 3rd choice and a totally different approach for the role

This is more like Spurs/Burnley matches though if you look at previous results, there are MANY high scoring matches.

Vertoghen flicking it on for Sordell. Nearly let them back in.

I saw an article somewhere earlier today that suggested that Fazio always starts now because the rest of our defence are useless in the air.
The Argentinian's one of the best in the league in aerial duels and headed clearances, apparently.
Tonight suggests that this is a definite problem.
EDIT: This is the article: http://hereisthecity.com/en-gb/2015...-biggest-contribution-to-spurs-season-so-fa/?

That is really not a terrible option for us. Would anyone, hand on heart, really expect Lamela or Chadli to do better there? ONly drawback I can see is that you want your CAM to chip in with a few goals! That might even swing it in Chadli's favour. But I think Soldado's a more tricksy, creative player.

Soldado shoots wide and Pleat praises our fans' support for him.
Nice to see somebody recognising it, even if it's an ex-manager of ours.

He's got a bit of guile, which i think is required in that role. Chadli and Lamela have zero guile between them but Lamela could do the unexpected and Chadli has the goals.

Kane maybe too? Although he's too important up top now
