Tottenham make me so angry sometimes, they really do. I'd be here all night talking about the negatives and I've only just calmed down after the game <laugh> I'll just leave it at this, Kaboul, Chiriches and Capoue can't leave the club soon enough for me.

On the positives, Townsend was immense, Rose was good, Davies coped well considering the nonsense going on at his end of the pitch and Paulinho might lack a fair bit technically but he just has that knack of getting in the right areas at the right time, I think that's worth keeping him for. Soldado might've been on my list of players that we should sell but frankly who'd have him, I think we should just accept that he's our loveable **** up :D If ever there was a performance that summed up a player's career with us it was Soldado's tonight. Tap in from 2 yards? No thank you. Perfectly weighted ball for Rose to attack? Sure, no problem.

We might have had some frankly tragic performances at home over the last 2 seasons but no one can say the players aren't entertaining us at the moment. 9 goals scored and 5 conceded in the last 2 games!

Totally forgot to mention Onomah(doo doo doo do do)! He didn't have long but he looks quality, really hope he gets some more chances as the season progresses.

Defoe will do a Bent, he's gone to the wrong team.

I didn't see the game last night so just went to the BBC website to read about the match and saw they have video highlights with ahem... "commentary" from BBC London. Seriously, I had to turn the sound down as that female commentator's voice just gave me a headache so it ruined my enjoyment of a six goal feast. Before anyone accuses me of being a misogynist, I have no problem with female commentators but her voice is not fit for football commentary. I was just too screachy and painful to hear!

Anyhow, from what I can tell, it was another abject defensive performance, most likely caused by the reintroduction of Kaboul and Chiriches right? I see our world class striker is still showing his great ability to go from the ridiculous to the sublime. Misses a sitter from one yard yet lays a nicely weighted cross for Rose to score. Can someone tell Bobby we don't need assists, goals are what's preferred!

Looking at the team sheet though, it was clear that Poch took a gamble and played a few that were fresher to rest others who will no doubt play Sunderland at the weekend. By the looks of the poor start to that game, we did well to come back but we're through and that's the main thing.

I could rant but I think this team was made of mostly fringe players as I feel MP knows his strongest side these days much more than he did pre-2015.

Was a good laugh down the Lane last night.

Going 2-0 down within 8 minutes wasn't funny, however. Shocking bit of defending and then a **** deflection, yet despite that, us lot in Park Lane kept signing for the whole 90 minutes.

Kaboul and Chiriches (despite the latter scoring) didn't look too great at times and wouldn't have done themselves any favours when trying to show the manager they should be in contention for more games. Davies and Jan and solid games. Stambouli didn't do much wrong but didn't set the world alight. Capoue had a weird game, something's he was great at and at times he was utter dire, for a supposed DM he wasn't getting stuck in enough yet he made some great passes and grabbed the best goal of the game. Paulinho looked good, he was causing Burnley problems and deserved his goal. Soldado... 2 assists but his miss summed up his Spurs career, 5 yards out (if that) and he hits the bar, awful miss. Rose was really good on the LW, you can tell it was a position he played regularly in. MOTM was Townsend though, best game of the season for him, tore Burnley a new one and bar a couple of dodgy crosses and the typical 25 yard shot, he was impressive to watch and created a number of opportunities.

Park Lane was excellent though, even at 2-0 down we were just having a laugh and singing throughout. One smart ****er even got Onomah his own song the moment he came onto the pitch with a rendition of "Mah Na Mah Na" (Ooonamah) - which was brilliant to see him given the chance by the way, I've waited ages to see him in a first team game, you can tell that despite it being just a cameo and no doubt having nerves, the kid has pure talent and slotted in nicely. Chadli also had a song of "Nacer is a dolphin, Nacer is a dolphin, na-na-na-naaaa" (stemmed from him posting numerous tweets with a dolphin emoticon <laugh>).

Despite a poor start, was a good performance in the end from pretty much a second string side. Still in 4 competitions, huge credit to Poch.

SOS we will have to meet up one day. Were you in 35?
I must admit though I wasn't signing anything but the hell I was singing.

The Onamah song we sing for him at U21 games and there was a large 1882 bunch.
The Nacer is a dolphin actually started with some supporters mentioning it and then he picked up on it.

Yeah, being on the Shelf it was hard to catch some of the different chants but it looked like 34/35 in particular were brilliant throughout. The Onomah one was really bugging me as I knew it must've been a song for a player but it took me until injury time to work out who it was for. Don't think I'd have got the Chadli one if they'd sang it all game <laugh> I hope the one for Josh catches on, it was stuck in my head the whole way home.

I admit to not having heard of Onomah until yesterday.

I hate to say but we are still not firing on all cylinders because we are making heavy work of teams we should be beating easily. There should not have been a replay for a start and we should not have lost to Palace. We went behind at home and thank G it was only Burnley. I also feel that we should have hit the net a couple more times instead of stopping with 40 minutes still to play.

Was indeed mate, I'm always in 35 unless it's been given to away support. Row 11 and usually in seats 120/ 121/ 122. You can't mistake me either, I'm a fat lump with a beard, usually sat with my lanky younger Cousin <laugh>. 9 times out 10 I'm in the Bell & Hare about an hour before kick off so that's where you'll catch me.

<doh> amount of times I spell singing wrong is a joke.

I thought at first the Onomah chant may have stemmed from U21's but haven't been to an U21 game for about 18 months now which is pretty shocking as I went to quite a few prior to then.

I too couldn't get it out of my head, such a simple yet comical tune.

I wonder if Nacer clocked on at any point.

The one at the end with the Burnley fan, calling him Jesus was terrific too. He took it well in fairness to him and the Burnley fans joined in the fun with it too, lol.

I'll look out for you . I only manage midweek games and generally stand Park Lane (although that said I'm in Paxton for SU and Jessica Ennis stand for the away leg.

I used to always go to the U21 when they played at Stevenage then stopped at Matchroom but going again now when I can.

    Jesus is a yiddo!

Haha, yeah I could see you all at one Burnley fan, at first I thought the songs involved Nugent but then I remembered he's at Leicester so probably not in the crowd. Again, eventually I cottoned on to what you were all actually chanting <whistle>

I love those moments, I remember some years ago away at Birmingham our fans started giving dog's abuse for most of the second half to a Birmingham fan who was wearing a bright pink hat. Even some of the fans around him joined in :D

Good luck with going up to every "fat lump with a beard" and ask them if they are Spurs or Sex!

The "Nacer is a Dolphin" is because he apparently has no hair on his body, hence as smooth as a dolphin.

    <laugh>!!!

To help Blue out, you can just shout "Lee" when around the row 11 area in 35, there shouldn't be too many lumpy, bearded-Lee's in the same vicinity. <ok>
