Where you sitting ?
East Upper. Block G I think but I'd have to check.
I've just remembered my Dad took me to the Benfica game so not as good of a record as I thought
Where you sitting ?
As much as it'd be nice to get a FA Cup run 4 competing for 4 competitions at this stage is a lot for us so I wouldn't mind Pochettino sending out a second string tomorrow. Infact it might be an idea to include a few youngsters, I think that would help the crowd too.
I'd like to see:
Vorm
Yedlin, Dier, Vertonghen, Davies
Stambouli, Winks
Lennon, Onomah, Townsend
Soldado
) but pretty sure I've read a new signing can't play in a replay, even if they've not played in the cup for another side.Is Yedlin eligible to play? Don't ask me where I think I've read it (probably dreamt it) but pretty sure I've read a new signing can't play in a replay, even if they've not played in the cup for another side.
If he has the all clear then it'd be great to see him for the first time but I've just got something in the back of my head saying he can't play (the voices!).
Only change I'd want to make to your XI is giving Jan a rest, he's looking back to his best and I'd rather him be saved for the League and Capital Semi's and use either Vlad/ Kaboul/ Fazio alongside Dier.
We did, but it would come down to when the loan back to the US finishedDidn't we already own Yedlin?
Not sure how it would work, but I don't expect him to be involved.
I really don't expect to see Ade in a Spurs shirt again. This is a game both teams might be wiser to lose.
Vorm
Chiriches Dier Kaboul Davies
Paulinho Stambouli
Lennon Soldado Dembele
Ade
I'd like to see Soldado in the CAM role. Not to say I will. As long as we're playing twice a week, we need subs for everyone, especially Eriksen, but also Fazio and Vertonghen. I haven't been convinced by either Lamela or Chadli in the the CAM role. Of course, if we do play this team, it will be summed up as a 4-4-2 and might well play that way, which also might not be a bad idea.
In order to sell maybe he'll be put in the shop window...I really don't expect to see Ade in a Spurs shirt again.
Yes, agree. Sadly in Lennon's case. Has been a top player for us and it's the wrong way for it to finishLennon and Adebayor cant even make the bench, I think their days at Spurs are numbered.
Looks like Pochettino thinks it may be wiser to lose this one as well. Well, not very daring, but it's hard to dare when you're tired, and the team has looked very weary lately.
It really is a poser where the goals are coming from. To be fair, Soldado's scoring record in the cups is decent, and Paulinho's main virtue with Spurs has been an ability to score from time to time.
And, of course, Rose scored a cracker the game before last.
Rose did start as a winger, and he subbed as a winger at some point this year as well. I wonder why he became a left back, actually. Every time I've seen him, I've thought, dangerous going forward, dodgy defending.
I always assume it's to protect from injury.Just because we seem to want to shift them, I don't know why they wouldn't play in a game we're clearly not desperate to win. I understand Adebayor and Pochettino have artistic differences, but I don't get why Lennon wouldn't play. I don't know of any indication he and Pochettino don't get along, and he's been good, for the most part, when he has played this year.
